Today, I only offer a brief recap for those of you who have likely been somewhat disappointed that yesterday’s post was not updated. I’m sorry but have not been able to be very active, as I’m now receiving home therapy and it is both time-consuming and exhausting.. Today’s post was originally about the errors of a specific “trad” who posted the usual errors against Our Lady of the Rosary and her requests at Fatima, but since that time, a few years back, the poor man has lost his faith utterly and so now, it is prayers that are called for,
But the message remains useful, I trust.
Sufferings and reparation
On her first visit, May 13, 1917, Our Lady asked the children,
“Do you want to offer yourselves to God to endure all the sufferings that He may choose to send you, as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended and as a supplication for the conversion of sinners?” Lucia promptly answered, “Yes! We want to!” “Then you are going to suffer a great deal, but the grace of God will be your comfort.”
A month later, on her second visit, she explained,
“Jesus wishes to make use of you to make Me known and loved. He wants to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. To whoever embraces this devotion I promise salvation; these souls shall be dear to God, as flowers placed by Me to adorn His throne.”
It was on the Third Visit, on July 13, 1917, that Our Lady explained her Message most fully.
“Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially when you make some sacrifice: ‘O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary’ “.
After showing the children a horrifying vision of the suffering souls of the damned in hell, she told them,
“You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart.”
“If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end, but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one will break out during the reign of Pius XI.
“When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that this is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine and persecutions against the Church and the Holy Father.
“To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays.
“If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated.
“In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a certain period of peace will be granted to the world.
To sum up; the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is a demand by God and we are expected to take His request to heart. In order for us to fulfill our “job” in this regard we are asked to:
- Endure all the sufferings we are sent* as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended and as a supplication for the conversion of sinners.
- Spread devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and her message at Fatima.
- Sacrifice ourselves for sinners prayerfully.
- Work for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary in the way that it was requested. (This implies that we offer sacrifice and rosaries for the Pope and Bishops for the grace to repent and be converted in order to obey Our Lady.)
- Endeavor to spread the devotion of the Fist Saturdays of Reparation complying fully with Our Lady’s requests.
The Specifics
These are quite specific requests and easily grasped even by the little children of Fatima in 1917. They are much, much more than “stay faithful and trust”. But by subtly diminishing the Message of Our Lady of Fatima, then replacing her clear requests with a platitude that is so vague as to be useless, readers are misled and the message of Fatima is once again buried in blather.
*Note that Our Lady affirmed that sufferings are “sent”. Sufferings are an expected part of our job. They are the way that we are given to offer the essential work of reparation.

Note also, that the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the only way that the Church will be purified and the chastisement stopped. Further, the material and spiritual chastisements will continue to intensify until sufficient reparation has been made and Our Lady at last does triumph over satan and cast him from the Church. To be clear:
Whether the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary comes now or later does matter very much!
Many souls are at stake as Our Lady pointed out to Saints Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia. Please understand that my remarks here are only offered in order to keep the emphasis on the very real task at hand, which is to keep the importance of Our Lady’s message at Fatima before her children. Reparation has been commanded and it is up to us to obey.
The message of Our Lady of Fatima has been obscured, betrayed and trivialized but it nevertheless is a binding requirement given to us by Our Lord through His most Blessed Mother. We who are aware of it are required to obey in order to hasten her triumph. Despite what others may say, it matters very, very much that we do all in our power to not only obey her requests, but to spread the message, alerting others to its importance. Many souls will be lost in this battle, and every one of us will answer for what we did or what we disdained to do.
