Cardinal Manning on Bergoglio’s Reformation

Previously Posted on  October 19, 2016
This is a long post, but thank you for reading- it is necessary to review this in order to  understand the importance of what is occurring now. Never before in Church history has the declared and accepted Vicar of Christ promoted such destructive policies against our Lord Jesus Christ. As in St. John Bosco’s Vision of the Two Pillars, the Barque of Peter has become unmoored and has entered into dangerous waters. Since posting this earlier today, please note that new material has been added. Please take some time to prayerfully consider:

Long before Cardinals Danneels, Marx and Kasper got their man, Bergoglio in the See of Peter, a holy Cardinal in England, a convert actually, foretold much of what we are now seeing. Cardinal Henry Edward Manning in “The Present Crisis in the Holy See”,  warned of a grave crisis facing the Church. The book’s four chapters, “The Progress of the Mystery of Iniquity, the Antichrist, What Holds Back the Antichrist  and The Apostasy of Rome“, are a solemn warning to the Church for these times.

Early in his book, Cardinal Manning states that the three notes of the Apostasy are schism, heresy and denial of the Incarnation, and concludes that all the heresies from the beginning are but the continuous development and expansion of the one “mystery of iniquity” which from the beginning wars against the mystery of the faith.

Likening the heresies which have afflicted the Church to diseases, he remarks:

“To name no more than these,— Gnosticism, Arianism, and, above all, Protestantism, have generated each a multitude of subordinate and affiliated heresies. But  it is Protestantism which, above all others, bears the three notes of the inspired writers in the greatest breadth and evidence. Other heresies have opposed parts and details of the Christian faith and Church; but Protestantism, taken in its historical complex, as we now are able, with the retrospect of three hundred years, to measure it, reaching from the religion of Luther, Calvin, and Cranmer at the one end, to the Rationalism and Pantheism of England and Germany at the other, is of all the most formal, detailed and commensurate antagonist of Christianity.

“I do not mean that it has as yet attained its full development, for we shall see reasons to believe that it (protestant heresy) is still pregnant with a darker future; but even as “the mystery of iniquity” has already worked, no other antagonist (than Protestantism) has as yet gone so deep in undermining the faith of the Christian world.”

Cardinal Manning thus foresaw that even in 1861, the protestant heresy was  “still pregnant with a darker future”. And so it was. We have seen that after the Second Vatican Council, the heresy of modernism (in which protestantism subsists) advanced even into the highest echelons of the Catholic Church. Cardinal Manning then observed two consequences of the heretical movements of the mystery of iniquity. The first of these is the rise of nationalism and the second is the deification of man, which has become rampant since Vatican II. And now has seemingly triumphed under the destructive reign of Luther’s own Pope Francis.

Cardinal Manning explains that while heresy in the individual dissolves the unity of the incarnation, heresy in a nation (think here of the Germans under Kasper/Marx) dissolves the unity in the Church. “This process of national defection which began openly with the Protestant reformation, is running its course.” Collegiality is the further stage of this nationalism and will be used by the revolutionaries in the Church to advance their agenda after the final Synod in October.

Regarding the deification of man, Cardinal Manning cites as examples the pantheism of German philosophers such as Schelling, Hegel and Hillebrand and the positivism of Comte. He concludes,

“It will be observed that both Pantheism and Positivism alike end in the deification of man: they are a boundless egotism and an apotheosis of human pride.”

Pantheism is prevalent today as the myriad fads of the  “New Age” phenomenon.   And both these noxious heresies animate the universal religion of man promoted by the United Nations and its most enthusiastic spokesperson, our humble pontiff in his Bergoglian Reformation.

Cardinal Manning affirmed that the Antichrist will be a real person and at that time (1861) was restrained to a certain extent by Christendom, or Catholic society, although he noted that the restraint was growing weaker day by day. He then asks rhetorically, who it is that removes the restraint on the antichristian forces of disorder. His answer:

“If the barrier which has hindered the development of the principle of antichristian disorder has been the Divine power of Jesus Christ our Lord, incorporated in the Church and guided by his Vicar, then no hand is mighty enough, and no will is sovereign enough to take it out of the way, but only the hand and the will of the incarnate Son of God Himself.”

His Excellency quotes Doneso Cortez, the great Spaniard, to the effect that Christian society is doomed and that the principles now ascendant are universally anti-christian. From Cortez:

“European society is dying. The extremities are cold: the heart will be soon. And do you know why it is dying? It is dying because it has been poisoned; because God made it to be nourished with the substance of Catholic truth, and the empirical doctors have given it for food the substance of rationalism. … It is dying because error is killing it, and because society is now founded upon errors. …Individuals may still save themselves because individuals may always be saved; but society is lost, … because it has no will to save itself.

Both Manning and Cortez wrote before the disastrous twentieth century, during which the two World Wars destroyed the great old Catholic monarchies and established the forces of Marxism and international finance/freemasonry. Now, in the twenty-first century, we see the errors of Russia thoroughly permeating every society and being advanced by the forces of one world government and its one world religion.

The restraint on the forces of Antichrist was removed as a direct result of the Church’s refusal to obey Our Lady of Fatima. This arrogant disobedience of the pontiffs is what caused the release of the diabolical forces of disorder against the Church, as foretold by the vision of Pope Leo XIII. Cardinal Manning rightly believed that the strength of the papacy was a bulwark against the incursion of error in the Church.  And when he predicted that secular powers would remove the pope, he was correct; however, the secular powers became entrenched within the Church, which was something he did not anticipate.

How did the papacy fail?

By their disobedience to the Blessed Virgin at Fatima, each pope from Pius XI onwards set themselves against God’s will; eventually, by the time of John XXIII, becoming openly defiant and flatly refusing her command. Thus, from John XXIII on, the popes effectively removed themselves as the bulwark against the antichristic agenda.  And now, this has culminated under the present pope, who is frankly, openly antichristic. Not Antichrist. In Pope Bergoglio, we have the first thoroughly modernist pope. This tragedy was perhaps, foretold by Cardinal Pacelli before he became Pope Pius XII and also by St. Francis of Assisi.

“For in those days, Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor, but a destroyer.”

Even though he did not foresee an apostate pope in the future, the Cardinal did foresee that horrible fate which was in store for the Church in these sad days:

“The Word of God tells us that towards the end of time the power of this world will became so irresistible and so triumphant that the Church of God will sink underneath its hand … It will be deprived of protection. It will be weakened, baffled, and prostrate, and will lie bleeding at the feet of the powers of this world.”

“The apostasy of the city of Rome from the Vicar of Christ, and its destruction by Antichrist, may be thoughts so new to many Catholics, that I think it well to recite the text of theologians in the greatest repute.

“First, Malvenda, who writes expressly on the subject, states as the opinion of Ribera, Gaspar Melus, Viegas, Suarez, Bellarmine and Bosius, that Rome shall apostatise from the faith and drive away the Vicar of Christ, and return to its ancient paganism. Malvenda’s words are: “Rome itself in the last times of the world will return to its ancient idolatry, power, and imperial greatness. It will cast out its Pontiff, altogether apostatise from the Christian faith, terribly persecute the Church, shed the blood of martyrs more cruelly than ever, and will recover its former state of abundant wealth, or even greater than it had under its first rulers.”

You see here that Manning and the Church Fathers foresee the persecution of the Church, however they state clearly that the Pope will be cast out by secular “Rome”. They did not foresee this current state of affairs when the Vicar of Christ will himself, attempt to cast Christ from His Church. To clarify this, consider Cardinal Pacelli’s remarks before he became Pope Pius XII:

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucia of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul … A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God.” (original source from Traditioninaction.org)

This dire warning by Pope Pius XII indicates the apostasy begins with the Popesince only with the Pope’s collusion can apostasy advance in the Church enough to be termed “suicide” of the faith. It was with the complicity of Pope Paul VI that Vatican II worked its disastrous agenda against the Church.

Just before his death, St. Francis of Assisi also prophesied about these times:

“Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true pastor but a destroyer.” (From The Works of the Seraphic Father, Washbourne, 1882, available online: Archive.org)

To continue with Cardinal Manning:

“Finally, Cornelius A. Lapide sums up what may be said to be the common interpretation of theologians. Commenting on the … eighteenth chapter of the Apocalypse, (regarding Rome) he says: “… from Christian it shall again become heathen. It shall cast out the Christian Pontiff, and the faithful who adhere to him. It shall persecute and slay them. It shall rival the persecutions of the heathen emperors against the Christians. . . . . For so we see Jerusalem was first heathen under the Canaanite; secondly, faithful under the Jews; thirdly, Christian under the Apostles; fourthly, heathen again under the Romans; fifthly, Saracen under the Turks.”

If Jerusalem is a foreshadowing of Rome, Lapide’s words, ”Saracen under the Turks” are interesting, aren’t they?

Fr. Lapide’s comment that Rome will cast out the Christian pontiff was fulfilled when the modernists silenced Pope Benedict and fraudulently elected Bergoglio to replace him. Manning concludes that Rome will become apostate under the revolution and then pagan under the Antichrist. With Francis we are seeing the fulfillment of the revolution in the Church that began with Vatican II. The periti at Vatican II referred to it as the Revolution of 1789 within the Church, and so it was.

Cardinal Manning states that,

“…the Antichrist, and the antichristian movement … is the direct and mortal enemy of the One Holy Catholic and Roman Church— the unity from which all schism is made; the sole organ of the Divine voice of the Spirit of God; the shrine and sanctuary of the Incarnation and of the continual sacrifice. …

“These are times of sifting. Our Divine Lord is standing in the Church: “His fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly cleanse His (own) and He will gather the grain into His barn, and will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” It is a time of trial, when “some of the learned shall fall,” and those only shall be saved who are steadfast to the end.”

In his conclusion, Cardinal Manning adds a note:

“Saint Alphonsus says: “Hence St. Bonaventure says that in the Mass God manifest to us all the love that He has borne us, and includes in it, as in a compendium, all His benefits. On this account the Devil has always endeavored to abolish the Mass throughout the world by means of heretics, making them the precursors of Antichrist who, before all things, will endeavor to abolish, and in fact will, in punishment for the sins of men, succeed in abolishing the Holy Sacrifice of the Altar, according to the prediction of Daniel: ‘And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice because of sins.’”

In the above quoted passages the Cardinal foresees that the Church will be compromised, and that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be effectively stopped. This could happen quite quickly if, after the final Synod, the Bishops emulate the heretical German Bishops who already allow those who are unrepentant in mortal sin to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion.

By doing so, they are institutionalizing sacrilege of Our Lord in place of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. The resulting abomination bears more resemblance to a satanic anti-Mass than to the Holy Sacrifice. It would not be a so-called Black Mass because that mass actually inverts the true Latin Mass, not the vapid Novus Ordo.

[End of quote from previous post] To recap, in the above post, we began by paraphrasing from Cardinal Manning,

“…the three notes of the Apostasy are schism, heresy and denial of the Incarnation, and concludes that all the heresies from the beginning are but the continuous development and expansion of the one “mystery of iniquity” which from the beginning wars against the mystery of the faith.

The reason for this is to point out that the modernist “reformation” promoted by this current pope is a specific attack on the essential truths of the Faith, the Incarnation, the Real Presence, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. This attack and its consequences, was vividly foretold by Blessed Elizabeth Canori-Mora:

“In 1816, Our Lady appeared to Blessed Elizabeth on Christmas Day with the Christ Child in her arms. Elizabeth was struck by the deep sorrow of the Blessed Mother’s countenance and asked Our Lady what could be the cause of such sorrow, “Behold, my daughter, such great ungodliness.” Blessed Elizabeth then saw “apostates brazenly trying to rip her most holy Son from her arms. Confronted with such an outrage, the Mother of God ceased to ask mercy for the world, and instead requested justice from the Eternal Father. Clothed in His inexorable Justice and full of indignation, He turned to the world.

“At that moment all nature went into convulsions, the world lost its normal order and was filled with the most terrible calamity imaginable. This will be something so deplorable and atrocious that it will reduce the world to the ultimate depths of desolation.”

Note that this vision occurred on Christmas Day. It foretells Our Lady’s anguish at those who attack her Divine Son in His sacrament of love. It is an intimation of the sacrilege promoted by Pope Francis and those who currently occupy the visible Church.

To summarize: As we noted at the beginning, Pope Francis, by his actions in the subversive Synods of 2014 and 2015 and the subsequent (and heretical) Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia, is attempting to unmoor the Church from the pillars of Eucharistic Devotion and Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He is forging ahead with his rehabilitation of the arch-heretic Martin Luther. By his actions, he appears to be fulfilling many prophecies:

  • The prophecy of St. Francis of Assisi and becoming the destroyer pope.
  • The prophecy of Cardinal Pacelli (later Pius XII) of the suicide of the faith, which could only be accomplished by the head of the Church, the Vicar of Christ in a monumental act of betrayal.
  • And we very well may see the fulfillment of Cardinal Manning’s prediction that  the Church “will be weakened, baffled, and prostrate, and will lie bleeding at the feet of the powers of this world.”

It is urgent that you grasp the significance of this. You must see the importance of this time! Again, and yet again, please, pray the Rosary, please offer reparation!

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come; Viva Cristo Rey!
St. Joseph, terror of demons, protect our families, protect our priests.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

~ by evensong, for love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ, King!

Vouchsafe that I may praise thee, O Sacred Virgin, give me strength against thine enemies!

The Nations Will Rise Up Against You

“By God’s permission the nations will rise up against you; they will have vain thoughts of you; they will esteem as naught your priestly dignity and consecration. The princes of the earth will unite to cast you down. Your rulers will drive you from their territories, since your crimes have driven the innocent Lamb far from you.”   (St. Hildegard von Bingen)

Yesterday was the day in our Traditional Calendar when we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It was also the anniversary of the day on which Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò signed his testimonial regarding the extensive corruption of the sacred priesthood by the homosexual predators which have infiltrated the Church aided and abetted by the modernist, apostate hierarchy, even up to and including Pope Francis himself.

As long-time readers know, we have posted on the dangers to the sacred priesthood since the inception of this blog several years ago, stressing the connection between the message of Fatima and the spread of heresy, apostasy and the corruption of the sacred priesthood.

I had hoped that the fact that Archbishop Viganò issued his testimonial on the traditional (true) Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary would be duly noted and celebrated as the victory of the Immaculata which it is. Even though Abp. Viganò referred to the date as the Queenship of Mary, that is the term assigned by the Novus Ordo church to replace that of the title intended by Pope Pius XII. Since 1960, the post-conciliar church has been determined to supplant and minimise devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and their efforts seem to be bearing fruit in the lack of honor to the Immaculata in her latest victory.

Yet it is only through true and total devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary that the evils of doctrinal and moral dissolution will be purged from the true Church, the Bride of Christ. Those who occupy the seats of power in this church congratulate themselves that their efforts are bearing fruit at last will soon see something they did not at all anticipate. Soon, God willing, we will discuss this further. But for now, we offer, from 2015:

An essential part of the message of Fatima is the warning of the corruption of the priesthood. Sister Lúcia spoke of this to Father Agustin Fuentes:

“Father, the devil is in the mood for engaging in a decisive battle against the Blessed Virgin. And the devil knows what it is that most offends God and which in a short space of time will gain for him the greatest number of souls. Thus, the devil does everything to overcome souls consecrated to God, because in this way, the devil will succeed in leaving souls of the faithful abandoned by their leaders, thereby the more easily will he seize them.

“That which afflicts the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Heart of Jesus is the fall of religious and priestly souls. The devil knows that religious and priests who fall away from their beautiful vocation drag innumerable souls to Hell … The devil wishes to take possession of consecrated souls. He tries to corrupt them in order to lull to sleep the souls of laypeople and thereby lead them to final impenitence.” (Sister Lucia of Fatima to Father Agustin Fuentes, December, 1957)

In an earlier article, we quoted Pope Benedict’s address to the Curia in 2010 where he in turn, quoted from St. Hildegard von Bingen.  (Volume 2 of “The Life and Revelations of Anne Catherine Emmerich  by Rev. Carl Schmoger, C.SS.R., TAN Publishing, pages 98-101):

“Confined to my bed by sickness, I had in the year of the Lord, 1170, a beautiful vision of a Lady more lovely and attractive than human mind can paint. Her form reached from earth to sky, her countenance shone with splendor, her eyes were fixed on heaven. She wore a shining robe of white silk and a mantle embroidered with precious stones, emeralds, sapphires, pearls and flowers of gold; on her feet were shoes of onyx. But her face was soiled with ashes, her robe was torn on the right side, her mantle was stained, her shoes were covered with mud. In a clear, plaintive voice she cried: “Hear O ye heavens! My face is disfigured! – Be afflicted, O earth, for my vesture is rent! – And thou, O abyss, tremble, for my shoes are soiled! The foxes have holes and the birds have nests, but I, I have none to assist or console me, I have no support on which to lean! – I was hidden in the bosom of the Father until the Son of Man, conceived and born of a Virgin, shed His blood in which He espoused me and endowed me with His grace, that in the pure regeneration of spirit and water, I might bring forth those anew whom the serpent’s venom had infected.

But my nurses, the priests who should have preserved my countenance resplendent as the aurora, my robe brilliant as the lightning flash, my mantle glittering as precious stones, my shoes white as snow, have sprinkled my face with ashes, have torn my robe, soiled my mantle, and stained my shoes. They who should have adorned me have allowed me to perish.  They sully my countenance when they handle and eat my Bridegroom’s Flesh and Blood in spite of the impurity of their life, their fornications, their adulteries, and their rapacity in selling and buying, a thing unlawful to them. Yes, they cover His Flesh and Blood with opprobrium. It is like casting a new born babe to swine.

As man became flesh and blood at the very instant that God formed him from the slime of the earth and breathed into him the breath of life, so the same power of God, at the words of the priest, changes the offering of bread, wine and water upon the altar into the true Flesh and true Blood of Christ, my Spouse; which, however, on account of the blindness occasioned by Adam’s fall, man cannot see with his corporal eyes. The wounds of my Spouse remain fresh and open, as long as those of sinful man are not closed. They are outraged by those priests who, instead of preserving me pure and serving me in holiness, seek with insatiable avidity to heap up riches and benefice on benefice. They tear my vesture by their infidelity to the law, to the Gospel, to the priesthood. They stain my mantle by their neglect of the precepts laid down for them, instead of fulfilling them joyfully and perfectly by continence like unto the beauty of the emerald, by alms-giving like unto the sapphire, and by the practice of all other good works which honor God as so many precious stones. They soil my shoes by walking not in the right path, the rough and difficult path of justice, and by failing to give good example to their inferiors; but in my shoes I perceive the hidden light of truth among a few.

The false priests deceive themselves; they crave the honor attached to their functions while dreading the trouble. But it is impossible for them to have one without the other, since to no one who has not labored will wages be given. When God’s grace touches a man, it urges him to labor for the reward. God now punishes man by raining evils upon him. He covers the earth with them as with a mist until its verdure disappears and it is clothed with darkness. But the abyss will tremble when He will come in His wrath, making heaven and earth the instruments of His vengeance and man’s destruction.

Arrogant princes and nations will rise up against you, O ye priests who have hitherto neglected me! They will drive you forth, they will rob you of your wealth, because you have neglected your sacred ministry. They will cry: “Cast out of the church these adulterers, these robbers full of iniquity!” In so doing, they think they render God a service, saying you have polluted His Church; therefore the Scriptures say, “Why have the nations raged and the people devised vain things?” By God’s permission the nations will rise up against you; they will have vain thoughts of you; they will esteem as naught your priestly dignity and consecration. The princes of the earth will unite to cast you down. Your rulers will drive you from their territories, since your crimes have driven the innocent Lamb far from you.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying: “This vision represents the Church – wherefore, O daughter of man, who dost see these things and hear these lamentations, announce it to the priests who have been instituted and ordained to guide and instruct the people, for to them in the person of the apostles it has been said: “Go into the whole world and preach the Gospel to every creature.” When God created man, He delineated in him every creature, as are written upon a scrap of parchment the seasons and numbers of a whole year; therefore it was that God named man “every creature”.

And I, poor woman, saw again a drawn sword floating in the air, one edge toward heaven, the other toward the earth. And it was raised above a spiritual race that the prophet foresaw when he exclaimed in astonishment: “Who are these, that fly as clouds, and as doves to their windows?”  (Isaiah 1x.8); for they who are raised above the earth, separated from ordinary men, they who should live holily, showing forth in their actions the  simplicity of doves, are evil in their works and manners. And I saw the sword strike the priestly race in many places as Jerusalem was destroyed after the Savior’s Passion; and I saw also, that in the time of tribulation God will spare many pure and upright priests who fear Him, as He said to Elias that he had left in Israel a thousand men who had not bent the knee to Baal. May the inextinguishable fire of the Holy Spirit be enkindled in you to convert you to better things!”

There is much to think about in this vision of St. Hildegard’s. It is axiomatic in applying the revelations of Scriptures and Saints that “What has been will be again”. And thus, Pope Benedict obviously was correct in offering the Curia – and the priests of the Church – the prophecies of St. Hildegard as relevant to our times. Note that Pope Benedict canonised Saint Hildegard – who was already traditionally deemed a saint, thus pointing to the relevance of her prophesies. Please consider this prayerfully, for the testimony of Abp. Viganò when combined with the actions of Pope Francis in this past year, show his brutal determination to complete his destruction of the sacramental framework of the faith.

The gist of the above vision appears to substantiate Sister Lúcia’s contention that Satan is especially targeting priests to corrupt them and by that corruption, dragging countless numbers of Catholics to hell. In scripture, very often, sins of impurity of the flesh are linked with sins of impurity in belief and worship. Thus adultery and fornications and other foul sins can also apply to heresy and apostasy from the faith. All are based in narcissism and an arrogant determination at self-aggrandisement. Once a poor sinner is caught up in this morass, he becomes blind and maimed and covered with putrescence, although unable, in his spiritual blindness, to see what is obvious to those who retain the light of grace and the clear vision of the faith.  Therefore it is essential for those who retain the faith to offer penance and prayers for the relief of these sinners.

If we have the faith, it is through no great merit of our own, but through the ineffable mercy of God, and this faith is not given us for our sole comfort but entrusted to us so that we may help others repent, be converted and be saved. So many arrogantly “consider themselves Catholics” without knowing their faith. They follow blindly after blinded Churchmen, themselves steeped in corruption. The poor prelates today, stuck on stupid, as it were, cannot help themselves. Pope Francis cannot see what a ridiculous caricature he has made of the papacy; he needs our prayers, our penances on his behalf.

The Church offers us many stellar examples of saints who generously suffered to bring forth an increase in sanctity for poor sinners. St. Hildegard, St. Catherine Siena, St. Jean Vianney, St. Padre Pio, Anna Emmerich and so many more inspire us. Although we may not rise to their heroism,  we must offer everything, each little detail of our daily trials and burdens, for the repentance and conversion of sinners, especially those among our clergy.

“Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ present in all the Tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages, and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. Through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.” (The Prayer of the Archangel Michael of Fatima)

As we continue our Novena of Rosaries for the October Synod, let’s also be preparing for Our Lady’s next feast day, that of her Nativity, September 9! And let us thank her every day for inspiring and strengthening the few prelates who are resisting this wicked man who presumes to destroy Christ’s Church. These few faithful churchmen are in many instances, corrupted to some extent – for none are perfect! But they are what we have and so we must pray for Our Lady to use even such poor tools as they are – for we never doubt of her triumph!

Pope Francis and his henchmen, by promoting sodomites, have led the way in casting aside priestly dignity and are working to destroy their beautiful consecrations. By doing so, they believe that the globalists will reward them by setting them at the head of the globalist church, but that will never be. For truly, “The princes of the earth will unite to cast you down. Your rulers will drive you from their territories,” and the innocent Lamb who is Christ, Our Lord, whom they have spurned will be far from them in their hour of desolation.

There has never been a better time to  Pray the Rosary with confidence and joy!

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
St. Joseph, protect us, protect our families, protect our priests.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, defend our priests.

Please pray for the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary!

The Message of Fatima, a Great Sign, 2022

Last posted August 28, 2021. Earlier posts were from 2015 and 2016.

Although Pope John XXIII refused to release the long-awaited Third Secret of Fatima, it is noteworthy that the popes who succeeded him, Paul VI, John Paul II and Benedict XVI, all  referenced the Apocalypse or the last times when speaking of Fatima.

In that earlier post, we discussed that Pope Paul VI made a pilgrimage to Fatima on May 13, 1967 for  the 50th anniversary of Our Lady’s first visit. In his address, he referred to “The great sign which the Apostle John saw in Heaven, “a woman clothed with the sun,”  in connection with Our Lady of Fatima.  After thus linking  Fatima with Chapter 12 of the Apocalypse, he cautioned, “we wish to call the attention of all sons of the Church once more to the indissoluble link between the spiritual motherhood of Mary … and the duties of redeemed men toward Her, the Mother of the Church.”  It was quintessentially typical of him that he urges  the faithful to be obedient even as he disobeyed the Blessed Mother and betrayed her children. (Pope Paul VI,Apostolic Letter, “Signum Magnum”, that is, Great Sign)

The Great Red Dragon

And then, on the same date, in the same place, but 33 years later,  that is, in 2000,  Pope John Paul II spoke on the occasion of the Beatification of the Fatima shepherds, Jacinta and Francisco,

“Another portent appeared in Heaven; behold, a great red dragon” (Apoc. 12:3). These words from the first reading of the Mass make us think of the great struggle between good and evil, showing how, when man puts God aside, he cannot achieve happiness, but ends up destroying himself.…

“The Message of Fatima is a call to conversion, alerting humanity to have nothing to do with the ‘dragon’ whose ‘tail swept down a third of the stars of Heaven, and cast them to the earth’ ” (Apoc. 12:4).  (Pope John Paul II, Homily at Fatima, May 13, 2000)

Ten years after Pope John Paul II’s reference linking the message of Fatima with Apocalypse, Chapter 12, Pope Benedict XVI on  May 13, 2010, said of the message of Fatima:

“He deceives himself who thinks that the prophetic mission of Fatima is concluded.” He added: “There are indicated future realities of the Church which little by little are manifesting themselves… and therefore it is the sufferings of the Church which are announced.”

Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement Part II

For those who have asked, here is our third installment. Previous posts were Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement and The Seven Trumpets. Like many others in these dark and confused times, I read (and reread!)  the Apocalypse and books of Catholic prophecy by approved Catholic authors. Today, we have the benefit of a perspective that includes more history than that which was available to previous exegetes of the Apocalypse. In particular, we have the Message of Fatima, from the Queen of Heaven herself, plus the benefit of what we have observed and learned about the Second Vatican Council and its effects on the Church and the world. And with every passing day, Pope Francis and his cohort make the apostasy of the faith ever clearer.

In this series of posts, we will look at a few passages from St. John’s Apocalypse in the light of recent history. For our purposes, the term ‘recent’ refers to the events a little before Our Lady of the Rosary’s visits to Fatima in 1917 and on up to the present day, that is to the Synod and its sequelae. I am no expert in this, but simply offer these thoughts as an opportunity to get a discussion going. From what readers tell me, there is a real need for this, and if we can at least get people discussing it, I hope we can help spread the message of Fatima and prepare for what is to come. If you can improve on this, please be sure that I will support you, especially with my prayers. I do welcome all helpful criticism and contributions to the discussion. My email is in the sidebar.

And the Sixth Angel Sounded the Trumpet

And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet:”

[13] … and I heard a voice from the four horns of the great altar, which is before the eyes of God, [14] Saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet: Loose the four angels, who are bound in the great river Euphrates. [15] And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year: for to kill the third part of men.

[16] And the number of the army of horsemen was twenty thousand times ten thousand. And I heard the number of them. [17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision: and they that sat on them, had breastplates of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and from their mouths proceeded fire, and smoke, and brimstone. [18] And by these three plagues was slain the third part of men, by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. [19] For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For, their tails are like to serpents, and have heads: and with them they hurt. [20] And the rest of the men, who were not slain by these plagues, did not do penance from the works of their hands, that they should not adore devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

[21] Neither did they penance from their murders, nor from their sorceries, nor from their fornication, nor from their thefts. (Apocalypse Chapter 9, verses 13-21)

With the Sixth Angel’s Trumpet, we are introduced to the most severe chastisement so far.

Falling Like Stars, June 2020

Unfortunately, we are not able to update for 2022 .

And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns: and on his head seven diadems: And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.
(Apocalypse 12, v. 3-4).

This post updated June 19th, Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with scriptural citations added at the end.

One point I have stressed continuously is that the message at Fatima began with a warning from St. Michael the Archangel about abuses against the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Holy Eucharist and then it presents Our Lady offering the remedy for this assault from satan.

To be very clear on this point: God sends to us His most beloved creature, the most pure and ever Virgin Mary, whom Our Savior Jesus Christ chose to provide the very Body and Blood of His infinitely precious sacrifice. He sends her to us as His final offering to call us to repentance.

Again, the Sacred Body and Precious Blood, sacrificed for our redemption were provided through the Immaculate Virgin Mary. In that sense, we are united with her through our Holy Communions. She is the Mother of the Holy Catholic Church, and she is as well, the Mother of the Mass! This Immaculata is our only means to restore the essential Holy Sacrifice. If we continue to offend her by our indifference to her commands, there will be no further help given. I have updated this post from 2015 in the hope that it may help convince of the importance of our situation, which is dire. You will very soon lose even more than you already have lost. The world is on the brink of chaos and I have been unable to bring myself to speak of what will happen.

The Seven Trumpets

Today, another restored post from the past… I apologise that it has not been updated yet.

The following post is from back in 2013, right after our humble pontiff moved into the Santa Marta with his dear friends Msgr. Ricca and his “spiritual son” Gustavo Zanchetta. We repost from time to time for those just coming on board.

“And the angel took the censer, and filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it on the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings, and a great earthquake. And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet.” (Apoc. 8)

As requested, we will be looking at the Church in the light of the Message of Fatima and the Apocalypse. Sister Lucia is reported to have remarked when asked about the Third Secret that it was to be found in the Apocalypse, especially Chapters 8-13; that is to say, beginning with the Seven Trumpets.

Prior to her appearances at Fatima in 1917, Our Lady appeared at Quito, La Salette, Knock and (after Fatima) at Akita, all of which had a common thread of dire warning. Even though the apparition at Knock was silent, its prophetic relevance is clear from our perspective after 50 years of modernist “renewal”.

THE POPE OF THE TRUMPETS

Let’s start with Pope Paul’s Trumpets: In an interview with the Italian newspaper Avvenire, French writer Jean Guitton, a close friend of Pope Paul VI, recalled this interesting bit of history,

The Auto-demolition of the Church

I’ve been restoring old posts and decided that this old post from 2015 needs to be seen again. I have not edited but did add a couple of photos.

Miserabilism demands that the Church and her hierarchy divest of all properties and splendor and become truly indigent. It was evident particularly in the Protestant revolution which hated the beauty of Catholic art, architecture, music and all that caused the Church to have dignity. Miserabilism would strip the Church of her beauty, both spiritual and temporal in the name of a false humility. This heretical tendency is among the many that were part of the revolution of Vatican II and now reaches its full flowering in Pope Francis, the First Humble Pope in History®.

Msgr. Eugenio Pacelli, the future Pope Pius XII, made this astonishing prophecy on the future upheaval in the Church:

“I am worried by the Blessed Virgin’s messages to Lucia of Fatima. This persistence of Mary about the dangers which menace the Church is a divine warning against the suicide of altering the Faith, in Her liturgy, Her theology and Her soul. … I hear all around me innovators who wish to dismantle the Sacred Chapel, destroy the universal flame of the Church, reject Her ornaments and make Her feel remorse for Her historical past.

“A day will come when the civilized world will deny its God, when the Church will doubt as Peter doubted. She will be tempted to believe that man has become God. In our churches, Christians will search in vain for the red lamp where God awaits them. Like Mary Magdalene, weeping before the empty tomb, they will ask, ‘Where have they taken Him?’” (Roche, Pie XII Devant L’Historie, p. 52-53, quoted by Father Kramer in “The Devil’s Final Battle”, 2002, Good Counsel Publications.  Thorough documentation on this quote, including the date, 1933, can be found at the website of Atila Sinke Guimaraes, Tradition in Action.)

Insight from Mother Maria de Jesus de Agreda

Did you know that the title of Venerable Mother Maria de Agreda’s book, “The Mystical City of God” refers to the Blessed Virgin Mary? I didn’t, but now I want to share with you some of what I learned from Mother Maria de Agreda.

The following is taken from her Book I, Chapter XVIII.

SEQUEL OF THE MYSTERY OF THE CONCEPTION OF THE MOST HOLY MARY AS DESCRIBED IN THE SECOND PART OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CHAPTER OF THE APOCALYPSE.

“The angels of which the Evangelist speaks in this place, are seven of those who attend in a special manner at the throne of God and who have received commission and power to punish some of the sins of men. This vengeance of the wrath of the Omnipotent (Apoc. 15, 1) will happen in the last ages of the world; but it shall be a new punishment, greater than which neither before nor after is possible during mortal existence.”

ED. NOTE: Ven. Agreda here refers to Apocalypse Ch.15,1: “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God.”

We return to Ven. Agreda again:

“But since these mysteries are deeply hidden and since not all have been revealed to me, nor concern this history, I do not consider it proper to expatiate upon them, but I will pass on to what more closely concerns my task.

“This angel, of which St. John speaks, is the one through whom God will avenge with an especial and dreadful chastisement the injuries committed against His most holy Mother ; for the insane daring, with which they have despised Her, has roused the indignation of His Omnipotence. As the most holy Trinity has pledged Itself to honor and exalt this Queen of heaven above all human creatures and above the angels, placing Her in this world as a Mirror of the Divinity and as the special Mediatrix of mortals, God has taken it in a particular manner upon Himself to avenge the heresies, errors, outrages, and all injuries committed against Her, since thereby men have not glorified, acknowledged and adored Him in this tabernacle and have not made use of this incomparable mercy.

“These punishments are prophesied to the holy Church. Although the mysterious words of the Apocalypse enshroud in obscurity the rigor of this punishment, yet woe to the unhappy ones, that shall be overtaken by it! Woe to me, who have offended a God so strong and powerful to chastise! I am overwhelmed in the expectation of the great calamity here threatened.”

Malachi Martin on the Apostasy of the Faith

The following post has been published many times over the years and updated from time to time.  It is posted today because frankly, I made a mistake. I had intended it for Friday. I am sorry for my error and hope you will not overlook the last post prior to this. I have been working very hard to re-publish all the posts necessary to express Our Lady’s Fatima Message and the private and sacred prophecies related to it, within the context of this present time. In addition, I hope to have every appropriate devotion to sustain us in these times.
Father Malachi Martin died before seeing this brave new century and this destructive agenda which he had foretold. What would he think today?

“ALL DIVORCED WILL BE ADMITTED”

Pope Francis to Eugenio Scalfari of La Repubblica, the Pope’s favorite newspaper: “this is bottom line result, the de facto appraisals are entrusted to the confessors, but at the end of faster or slower paths, all the divorced who ask will be admitted.” (Rorate Caeli)

The above is shocking, of course, even though we knew it was coming to this. But to help us get  some perspective, let’s take a brief look at what Malachi Martin predicted back in the 1990’s.
