For Saint Rafael on his Holy Day, 2023

It was on Saint Rafael’s Day that my husband and I first met in 1960.  And we have maintained an abiding devotion to him.  On more than one occasion, when we were in dire need, Saint Rafael helped us, without fail.  Now our family has Holy Mass said on great Archangel Rafael’s Holy Day and we pray at my husband’s grave, thanking Saint Rafael  for “introducing” us.. I am greatly indebted to the Society’s News page for their beautiful article on this great saint, as I was unable to provide a post of my own due to the constraints of my health. LINK.

Sermon of St. Bonaventure for the Feast of St. Raphael

Raphael’s name means medicine from God. And we must remark that we can be rescued from evil by three benefits that St. Raphael grants us when he heals us. First Raphael, the celestial physician, rescues us from spiritual infirmity by leading us to the salutary bitterness of contrition, which refers to what Raphael said to Tobias: “As soon as you enter your house, anoint his eyes with gall.” He did so and his father received his sight.

St. Michael, Angel of Peace, 2023

For Saint Michael, Angel of Fatima, Angel of Peace on his Holy Day, the Dedication of St. Michael.

Our Lady of the Rosary appeared six times at Fatima from May through October, 1917. However, these important apparitions were preceded by the apparitions of The Angel of Peace, St. Michael the Archangel in 1916  to prepare the children for the work of the Blessed Virgin and may help prepare us for our work as her children in the time to come. These angelic apparitions were Eucharistic, above all, and thus we see that the Blessed Virgin’s message at Fatima is founded upon the bedrock of Eucharistic reparation.

Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself desired that His Sacred Body and Precious Blood be taken from the Immaculate Virgin Mary. It is indeed, the same Body and Blood of Mother and Son in the Most Blessed Sacrament.  Mary’s only life is in Jesus Christ her Son and her God and she most earnestly desires that we adore Him alone. The message of Fatima is based on this truth, leads us inevitably to the truth of Eucharistic Adoration. The tragedy of indifference to Our Lady’s pleas at Fatima has brought us to this time of pontifically approved idolatry, sacrilege and destruction of the Sacrifice of the Mass and the sacraments.

The following is compiled from a variety of Fatima resources, especially from Frère Michel de la Sainte Trinité’s ‘The Whole Truth About Fatima, Volume I’ (Link).

“Pray with me”

The Angelic apparitions took place in spring, summer and fall, 1916, when Lucia, Francisco and Jacinta were nine, eight and six, respectively. On a spring day, they shepherded their flocks on the east side of the Cabeço. After lunch and the Rosary, they began to play when,

” … a strong wind began to shake the trees. We looked up, startled, to see what was happening, for the day was unusually calm. Then we saw coming towards us, above the olive trees, the figure I have already spoken about. Jacinta and Francisco had never seen it before, nor had I ever mentioned it to them. As it drew closer, we were able to distinguish its features. It was a young man, about fourteen or fifteen years old, whiter than snow, transparent as crystal when the sun shines through it, and of great beauty.”

“We were surprised, absorbed, and struck dumb with amazement. On reaching us, he said:

Do not be afraid! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.”

Kneeling on the ground, he bowed down until his forehead reached the ground. Led by a supernatural impulse, we did the same, and repeated the words which we heard him say:

“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You!”

Having repeated these words three times, he rose and said:

“Pray thus. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications.”

Then he disappeared.

Frère Michel remarks on the apparition, as at Horeb, when it was given to Elijah to enter into the presence of God, as at the Cenacle at the moment when the divine Spirit descended on the Apostles, or finally at Massabielle, when the Immaculate Conception came to visit Bernadette, it is by a sudden and mysterious wind that the Angel of Fatima announced his approach. ‘Who makest the clouds thy chariot: who walkest upon the wings of the winds.’ (Ps. 103:3)

And the words of the Angel echo the words of the Angels in other Biblical apparitions, Fear not! I am the angel of peace.’  The presence of the Angel always fills the witnesses with astonishment, and he must first reassure them. ‘Fear not!’  he says to Zachary and to the Blessed Virgin, to the shepherds on the night of the Nativity, and to the holy women on the morning of the Resurrection.

Regarding his appearance, Lucia affirmed that he resembled a young man of great beauty, around fourteen or fifteen years old, whiter than snow and resplendent with a crystal-clear light, so much so that when Canon Barthas asked, ‘What was he like?’ she summed up her response in this laconic expression: Era de luz.’  That is, ‘He was of light.’ Here also is a completely biblical expression. The Angel who announced the resurrection of Christ, relates St. Matthew, had an appearance as of lightning, and his raiment was white as snow. (Mt. 28:3) And the same Evangelist, describing Our Lord transfigured on Tabor says: ‘His face shone like the sun, and His garments became white as snow.’ (Mt. 17:2)

‘God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all’ (1 Jn. 1:5), and whenever He deigns to manifest Himself to men, by the ministry of Angels or the mediation of His Holy Mother, He appears to us clothed in splendour, according to the beautiful verses of the Psalm: ‘O Lord my God, Thou art exceedingly great. Thou hast put on praise and beauty: And art clothed with light as with a garment.’ (Psalm 103:1-2) At Fatima, after each of the apparitions, this word “Light” always comes back to the lips of the seers.

The Presence of God

Sister Lúcia recounted the overwhelming presence of the Divine in the Fatima apparitions,

“The supernatural atmosphere which enveloped us was so intense that for a long time we were scarcely aware of our own existence, remaining in the same posture in which he had left us, and continually repeating the same prayer. The presence of God made itself felt so intimately and so intensely that we did not even venture to speak to one another. Next day, we were still immersed in this spiritual atmosphere, which only gradually began to disappear. It did not occur to us to speak about this apparition, nor did we think of recommending that it be kept secret. The very apparition itself imposed secrecy. It was so intimate, that it was not possible to speak of it at all.”

From Frère Michel,

The Presence of God is something stupendous, even crushing, for our feeble human faculties. But this ‘annihilation before the Divine Presence’, to use the expression of Sister Lucia, was for the three future messengers of Our Lady the surest school of true and profound humility, which is first of all the intimate knowledge of the infinite sanctity of God and the nothingness of the creature. In addition to the message which the seers began to put in practice right away – ‘from then on, we used to spend long periods of time, prostrate like the Angel, repeating his words, until sometimes we fell, exhausted’ – the visit of the Angel also obtained for them intimate graces of peace and joy in God: ‘the peace and happiness which we felt were great, but wholly interior, for our souls were completely immersed in God. The physical weakness that came over us was also great.’

In time, however, their childhood natures took over and they began to play. Then, at the height of summer heat, they brought the sheep back to the shelter of home and spent the heat of day in the shade of the trees about the family well. Lucia remembers,

We were playing on the well. Suddenly, we saw the same Angel right beside us.

‘What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.’

‘How are we to make sacrifices?’ I asked.

Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners. You will thus draw down peace upon your country. I am its Angel Guardian, the Angel of Portugal. Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you.’

‘We chose this spot … for our more intimate talks, our fervent prayers, and … our tears as well – and sometimes very bitter tears they were. We mingled our tears with the water of the same well from which we drank. Does this not make the well itself an image of Mary, in whose Heart we dried our tears and drank of the purest consolation?’

“Pray, pray much”

Frère Michel notes, “In the book of Kings, when the Voice of God spoke to Elijah, at Mount Horeb: ‘What are you doing, Elijah?’ (1 Kg. 19, 13) It was the same with the seers of Fatima: ‘What are you doing? Pray! Pray much!’ The Angel’s admonition was not in vain, for in the fall, when the Angel returned for the third time, he found them prostrate and praying as he had taught them. It was in late September or early October and the children had returned to the Cabeço.

As soon as we arrived there, we knelt down, with our foreheads touching the ground, and began to repeat the prayer of the Angel: “My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You… I don’t know how many times we repeated this prayer, when an extraordinary light shone upon us. We sprang up to see what was happening, and beheld the Angel. He was holding a chalice in his left hand, with the Host suspended above it, from which some drops of Blood fell into the chalice.

Leaving the Chalice and the Host suspended in the air, the Angel knelt down beside us and made us repeat three times:

‘Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly and I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the sacrileges, outrages and indifferences by which He Himself is offended. And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.’

Then, rising, he took the Chalice and the Host in his hands. He gave the Sacred Host to me, and shared the Blood from the Chalice between Jacinta and Francisco, saying as he did so:

‘Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men! Make reparation for their crimes and console your God.’

Once again, he prostrated on the ground and repeated with us, three times more, the same prayer, “Most Holy Trinity…”, and then disappeared.

Moved by a supernatural force which enveloped us, we had imitated the Angel in everything, that is, we prostrated as he did and repeated the prayers that he said … We remained a long time in this position, repeating the same words over and over again.

Frère Michel, “There is a very clear gradation in the apparitions of the Angel, and the third, which was spent entirely in the miraculous Communion given to the seers, truly marks the high point. On that day they had a sort of ‘Eucharistic theophany’, during which it was given to them to contemplate the drops of Precious Blood falling from the Sacred Host into the chalice.”

Sister Lucia affirmed that by his apparitions, St. Michael had impressed them deeply,

“These words were indelibly impressed upon our minds. They were like a light which made us understand who God is, how He loves us and desires to be loved, the value of sacrifice, how pleasing it is to Him and how, on account of it, He gives the grace of conversion to sinners. It was for this reason that we began, from then on, to offer to the Lord all that mortified us …”

Thus, with the Angel as their teacher and catechist, the shepherds learned to pray and offer their sacrifices. Sanctified by the Bread of Angels, they were prepared to welcome the Queen of Heaven, and bear witness to Her apparitions and message even to the point of heroism. We too can learn from these three appearances of St. Michael.

The first lesson:

Do not be afraid! I am the Angel of Peace. Pray with me.”

That is, do not waste your energy in fear, but pray!

The second lesson:

“My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I ask pardon of You for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love You!”

This prayer teaches us by both its words and the manner in which the Angel demonstrates it, deepest worship of the Divinity of God. It is a profound yet simple act of faith, hope and love combined with the most profound adoration. What an eloquent “antitoxin” for the sacrilege and indifference exhibited today by our pontiff and prelates!

The third lesson:

“Pray thus. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplications.”

In this lesson, the Angel affirms that the Hearts of Jesus and Mary are inseparably linked and he affirms the efficacy of prayers addressed to Them as such.

The fourth lesson:

“What are you doing? Pray, pray very much! The Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices constantly to the Most High.”

In this, the Angel affirms the importance of praying without ceasing. Indeed, God’s infinite mercy is offered to us and for this poor world, with the requirement that we must pray for it. In fact, as St. Michael states, we are to pray, “constantly”! And, moreover, our prayers must be accompanied by our sacrifices. Unlike the false mercy of imposters, God’s mercy must be prayed for!

The fifth lesson:

“Make of everything you can a sacrifice, and offer it to God as an act of reparation for the sins by which He is offended, and in supplication for the conversion of sinners.”

In this passage, the Angel teaches us the way God wishes reparation to be made. Not histrionically, with much fanfare, but quietly, unobtrusively, by offering up our daily duties, the sacrifices we are called to make each day in order to live our lives as devout children of Mary, consecrated to her Immaculate Heart.

The sixth lesson:

You will thus draw down peace upon your country.”

This profound lesson, so succinct, teaches us that war, which results from sin, can only be healed and peace restored, by sacrifices of reparation. Once again, only by reparation will we attain peace. Only by reparation. And what has the Church, beginning with John XXIII done? Where is reparation in the post-conciliar Church?

The seventh lesson:

“I am its Angel Guardian, the Angel of Portugal.”

Here, the Angel confirms that he is, in fact, St. Michael the Archangel, to whom Portugal has historically been entrusted.

You may remember that after Pope Leo XIII’s apocalyptic vision, he ordered the Church to pray to St. Michael the Archangel after every Low Mass that we be saved from Satan. After the Second Vatican Council, Pope Paul VI suppressed these prayers. Another sign of the darkness and diabolic disorientation of the Popes after John XXIII’s disobedience.

The eighth lesson:

“Above all, accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you.”

This final lesson caps off the preparation for the following year’s apparitions of the Queen of Heaven. It still echoes across the years to us, today more urgently than ever. Accept and bear with submission the suffering which the Lord will send you!  Yes, these times are rapidly approaching, when we may be denied the Mass and sacraments, and what is left will be to offer all to the Sacred Hearts with generous, sacrificial hearts united to theirs.

NOTE: Regarding the above statement, I have been warning of about the coming denial of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for so many years now, since the start of the Bergoglian Reformation.

St. Michael, appears significantly in the Sacred Scriptures from Daniel*  to Fatima’s last vision. He appeared also to St. Joan of Arc as well. This post is merely a small part of the significance of St. Michael. Chapter III of Frère  Michel’s “The Whole Truth About Fatima, Vol. I”  has much more information and all of it is most helpful to understand St. Michael’s role in Fatima and these  times. Marianna Bartold’s book, “Fatima, the Signs and Secrets” is also most useful. Both of the foregoing books have so many insights to offer, much more than I can recap here.

As we approach the end of the century of Fatima take heart, and offer always the Angel’s prayers .  If you are unable to assist at a true Mass each morning, offer Mass spiritually, renewing your consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, receiving Our Lord spiritually and frequently renew your intention to offer all to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary throughout the day in reparation, for the conversion of sinners, especially for the Pope and hierarchy. With each Spiritual Communion, be sure to pray the Angel of Fatima’s Eucharistic Reparation Prayer. In this way, even if we are unable to offer Eucharistic Reparation in person, we can offer it spiritually.

Use Holy Water throughout the day and try to pray the whole Rosary, incorporating the Prayer of St. Michael in each decade, and repeating it after your examen and Act of Contrition before bedtime.

And in all trials, we must give thanks to Our Lord for allowing us to be here now, able to give Him our love and make reparation for the sins which wound Him so grievously.  We are very blessed to be children of Mary!  We cannot lose heart now, for we have, after all, her promise, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph”.

*But at that time shall Michael rise up, the great prince, who standeth for the children of thy people: and a time shall come such as never was from the time that nations began even until that time. And at that time shall thy people be saved, every one that shall be found written in the book. (Daniel Chapter 12, verse 1)

Remember – Our Lady needs us to obey:  First Saturdays of Reparation, daily rosary, at least 5 mysteries, wear her brown scapular and live your Total Consecration to her Immaculate Heart, offering daily duties in reparation and for the conversion of poor sinners.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done!
St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, protect our families!
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle!

Slash and Burn, Reboot

Today we have a post from back before the last presidential election, but perhaps it may be worth a read today.

Slash and burn agriculture is the process of cutting down the vegetation in a particular plot of land, setting fire to the remaining foliage, and using the ashes to provide nutrients to the soil for the use of planting food crops.

Recently, a kind and gentle reader remarked, “it is not surprising that we see the ground being prepared, tilled so to speak, in order to receive the seed of the consecration.”

I’ve taken some time to consider this reader’s thoughtful comment and concluded that the ground may be prepared by a slightly different method.

In the slash and burn method, as detailed above, what is hindering the restoration of the faith and the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the glut of arrogant, disobedient and indifferent catholics who now occupy the Church, as laity and above all, as consecrated leaders, who conspire against her and serve the lord of this world.  By His usual effective methods, I believe that God will clear away the debris, and in these ashes, by the humility and obedience of the survivors, and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Church will rise again. A chastened Pope will consecrate Russia, and a chastened Russia will welcome this.

The Mystery of Iniquity

This is the original post from 2016 and has not been updated.

“For the mystery of iniquity already worketh; only that he who now holdeth, do hold, until he be taken out of the way.” (2 Thess, 2,7)

Pope Francis continues to use the Year of Mercy to flog the Church towards the great 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s Revolt against the Church. The irony of the Vicar of Christ proclaiming the sanctity of the archenemy of Christ seems lost amid the welter of voices battling for attention in this age of apostasy. If Pope John XXIII initiated the “beginning of sorrows” with his disobedience of Our Lady of Fatima, our current occupant is certainly accelerating it…

Cardinal Manning (1808-1892) was an Anglican convert. Ordained just ten weeks after entering the Church, he became Archbishop of Westminster and then Cardinal. Manning was a strong supporter of the doctrine of infallibility in the First Vatican Council in contrast to Cardinal Newman. In “The Present Crisis in the Holy See”, Cardinal Manning warned of a grave crisis facing the Church. The book’s four chapters, “The Progress of the Mystery of Iniquity, the Antichrist, What Holds Back the Antichrist and The Apostasy of Rome“, are a solemn warning to the Church for these times.

Early in his book, Cardinal Manning states that the three notes of the Apostasy are schism, heresy and denial of the Incarnation, and concludes that all the heresies from the beginning are but the continuous development and expansion of the one “mystery of iniquity” which from the beginning wars against the mystery of the faith. Likening the heresies which have afflicted the Church to diseases, he remarks: Continue reading “The Mystery of Iniquity”

A Secret of Grace and Mercy

previously posted on July 22, 2021 by evensong

The following essay is from the conclusion of the third volume, “The Whole Truth About Fatima – The Third Secret” of the Fatima series,  by Frere Michel de la Sainte Trinite.

Frere Michel wrote these words in 1985 and as we read them prayerfully, considering the ensuing demolition of the faith since then, we cannot be indifferent! And yet so many who “consider themselves” faithful Catholics, even Catholic leaders, are indifferent. I have no facile answer for this mystery of iniquity which is even now working within and against the faith. Only prayer, sacrifice and obedience to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

FROM THE THIRD SECRET TO THE “SECRET OF SECRETS”

Having reached the end of our inquiry, we are able to discern, with near certainty, the essential elements of Our Lady’s final Secret: While “in Portugal, the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved”, in many nations, perhaps in almost the entire world, the Faith will be lost.

The pastors of the Church will fail gravely in the duties of their office. Through their fault consecrated souls and the faithful in great number will let themselves be seduced by pernicious errors spread everywhere. This will be the time of the decisive battle between the Blessed Virgin and the devil.

A wave of diabolical disorientation will be hurled over the world. Satan will introduce himself even to the highest summit of the Church. He will blind the minds and harden the hearts of pastors. For God will deliver them to themselves as a chastisement for their refusal to obey the requests of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

This will be the great apostasy predicted for the “last times”; the “False Lamb” and “False Prophet” will betray the Church to the profit of “the Beast”, according to the prophecy of the Apocalypse. Does perhaps the Secret also announce some of the chastisements prophesied by the Scriptures for the “last times”?

Perhaps it evokes the persecutions which the Holy Father will have to suffer, when he “will return” to “confirm his brethren”, and finally obey Our Lady’s requests.

If for the essentials such is indeed the true content of Our Lady’s final Secret, nothing is so important, so necessary, so urgent as to make known the text in its limpid truth, in its full prophetic richness, in its divine profundity and transcendence. For between everything we could say about it, and the very words of the Queen of Prophets, there is of course an abyss! It is the abyss separating the shadow from the reality of which it is the projection. Yes, it is only too evident: everything we have been able to patiently discover about the contents of the third Secret only further highlights the urgent necessity for its publication.

And if we are mistaken? If the third Secret of Fatima announced, in reality, something completely different from what we have surmised ? If in all the facts we have brought, all the proofs we have presented, one desired to see only pure calumniatory suppositions, insulting for the pastors of the Church and for the Holy Father himself?

Well, our answer is simple. It concerns the Secret of Mary. And we know that Her will has not changed one iota since the hour of grace of July 13, 1917, when She revealed it to the three shepherds, since January 2, 1944, when, appearing to Sister Lucia in her convent at Tuy, She asked her to write the text. She wants this prophetic oracle to be revealed, to be known.

A SECRET OF GRACE AND MERCY

For it is a Secret of grace and mercy for the good of souls, for the salvation of Holy Church. If we are mistaken, if we are misleading the faithful by false hypotheses, stirring up vain fears, nothing is easier for Rome than to dispel them for good, in the only way which can convince everybody: by finally letting Our Lady speak through the publication of Her Secret! “Roma locuta est; causa finita est”. Rome would have passed on to us, with all the guarantees of their authenticity, the words of our Heavenly Mother. The cause would have been heard.

But as long as this disclaimer is not given to us – and we have no fear that it will be, because the truth which will be revealed then cannot contradict the truths we have discovered – we will continue to see in the first Secret of Mary an urgent appeal to conversion; in the second, Heaven’s response to the Bolshevik revolution; and in the third, the prophetic prediction of the apostasy which preceded, accompanied and followed the conciliar Reform.

This is why we will continue untiringly to request the Holy Father for its publication, sure that the publication of this message from Heaven will mark the dawn of the Church’s recovery. While we wait – it will perhaps be said to us – you are only increasing the crushing burden of the Holy Father, who is overwhelmed with so much anguish and so many cares!

[Note: In this portion, Frere Michel is speaking of Pope John Paul II, the pope at the time he was writing, whose motto was “Totus Tuus”.]

To this we answer simply: if our Holy Father the Pope is completely dedicated to Mary, completely devoted to Her, “Totus tuus”, as he proclaims in his motto, ” I am all Thine, O Mary!”, and if it is true, on the other hand – as we indeed want to believe – that he is justly filled with anguish at the sight of “the auto-destruction of the Church” which has gone on uninterruptedly since 1960,  disturbed over the “smoke of Satan” which has invaded the Holy Place,  afraid of the storm which threatens, more than at any moment in its history, to sink the Barque of Peter, if he is completely lucid on the perils of the hour – as he has a duty to be – what could he do better than correspond to the most express order of Our Lord – the Sovereign Master of the Barque, Who alone can command the sea and the waves – by finally obeying the desires of His Most Holy Mother?

ADVICE TO THE POPE

Let him go once more to Fatima on pilgrimage, not at all to make any new discourses, but quite simply to say this:

“My dear children, we are in anxiety. The true Faith is being lost. Souls are being damned. The peace of the world is threatened. If we are not converted, we will soon undergo the terrible chastisements we have merited. I am going to read to you the Secret of Our Heavenly Mother. Here is the truthful account which the seer left us of the third apparition of Our Lady, that of July 13, 1917:

“As Our Lady spoke these last words, She opened Her hands once more, as She had done during the two previous months. The rays of light seemed to penetrate the earth, and we saw as it were a sea of fire. Plunged in this fire were demons and souls in human form… Terrified and as if to plead for succour, we looked up at Our Lady, who said to us, so kindly and so sadly:

“You have seen hell, where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If what I say to you is done, many souls will be saved and there will be peace. The war is going to end; but if people do not cease offending God, a worse one willbreak out in the reign of Pius XI.

“When you see a night illumined by an unknown light, know that it is the great sign given you by God that He is about to punish the world for its crimes, by means of war, famine, and persecutions of the Church and the Holy Father.

“To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, and the Communion of reparation on the first Saturdays.”

“If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted, and there will be peace; if not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, causing wars and persecutions of the Church. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated.

“In Portugal the dogma of the Faith will always be preserved .”

(And to read, finally, the mysterious Secret…)

“In the end, My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted, and a period of peace will be granted to the world .”

(The Pope will then continue)

“This is why I have decided to accomplish ‘a solemn act of reparation and consecration of Russia to the most Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, and to order all the bishops of the Catholic world equally to do so.’  I have also decided ‘to approve and recommend the practice of the reparatory devotion of the five first Saturdays of the month’ in honour of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”

Would this not be the most simple, the most holy and the most effective of all discourses? To be sure, the divisions, the controversies and disputes from which the Mystical Body of Christ suffers so cruelly would not thereby disappear overnight. But in a single blow, a divine light would be shed on them. The Blessed Virgin would have spoken. The Blessed Virgin shall have spoken, for it must happen – even if it is late, very late – that the Sovereign Pontiff finally decides on this final recourse.

Then, those who dare to proclaim themselves against the message of the Queen of Heaven , which is so limpid, so prophetic, and bears within itself the unquestionable marks of its divine origin, will be justly “disqualified”. And we will see where the true children of Mary are the true servants of the Church, the true defenders of the Holy Father when he decides to act with courage and prudence to fulfill his entire duty as Vicar of Christ, infallibe Guardian of the dogmas of the faith, and humble servant of Mary, Queen of Apostles.

It is then a challenge, and more than a challenge, a prayer which we must unceasingly address to the Supreme Pastor, … to make known to us finally, the last warning of the Immaculate One, Mother of Mercy. As sons of the Church we are children of Mary, and we have the right to know the message which our Mother addresses to us to guard us and strengthen us in Faith, Hope and Love, in such a perilous time when the true Faith is being lost, when Hope is waning and the Charity of many is growing cold and dying.

CONCLUSION

Our conclusion is simple: the final Secret of Mary is a terrible Secret, but a truthful and salutary one. As long as it is not revealed, the Church will continue, inexorably, heading toward its ruin. It will be buried, irremediably, in the abyss of apostasy. …

The scorn for Mary’s final Secret by the pastors of the Church, and consequently, their refusal to obey Her requests, have gone hand in hand with their own increasingly grave deficiencies. And this is not astonishing, for God cannot fill with His graces of light and strength, servants who are rebellious to His will. The despised prophetic warning… has therefore been fulfilled. …

There is something even more important than the third Secret: it is the “Secret of secrets” which is, so to speak, the soul of the Fatima message, their incandescent hearth, capable of enlightening, with its ardent flame, our benighted times. It is the Secret which Jacinta recalled to her cousin as a last testament, shortly before Jacinta left her for Lisbon to die:

“Tell everybody that God grants us graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that people are to ask Her for them, and that the Heart of Jesus wants the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be venerated at His side.”

It is the admirable Secret of the mediation of Grace and Mercy by the Immaculate Heart of our Heavenly Mother. in the words of Saint Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort, “It is a Secret almost unknown to nearly everybody”,  and which, however, is addressed to each one. As Sister Lucia says so wonderfully:

“I always remember the great promise that fills me with joy: ‘I will never leave you alone. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way which will lead you to God.’ I believe that this promise is not for myself alone, but for all souls who want to take refuge in the Heart of their Heavenly Mother, and let themselves be led along the paths marked out by Her…”

Frere Michel continues,

With all the desired clarity, we will indicate this “port of salvation for all the shipwrecked of this world”, as the seer says again, making clear what Our Lady of Fatima asks of us here and now , that we may follow Her on the road to Heaven, taking with us “all the souls whom God has placed on our path”. Note: Sister Lucia said the foregoing in her final interview with Father Fuentes which we have posted previously.

Thus we will work in the most effective manner to hasten the hour of triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, necessary prelude to the universal reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

As Saint Maximilian Kolbe said:

“Modern times are dominated by Satan, and they will be even more so in the future. Only the Immaculate has received from God the promise of victory over Satan . But in the glory of Heaven, She needs our cooperation today. She looks for souls who will consecrate themselves entirely to Her, and become in Her hands a force to conquer Satan, and the instruments to bring about the kingdom of God.” [end quote]

Note: Frere Michel wrote this essay at Maison Saint-Joseph July 13, 1985, on the  Anniversary of the revelation of the Secret. He has since become a priest in a monastery in France where he continues to use the “the most effective manner” of working for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, which is why I have worked to get his words out to the world in the only way I found possible.

“At the present time, the occupants of the Vatican continue in their efforts to demolish the institutional Church and satan is more powerful in the world than ever before, but there is much, much more to come  very soon. We will see the very forces of Nature respond to the arrogance of these foolish men who seek to control human life.”

‘I will never leave you alone. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way which will lead you to God.’

Remember – Our Lady needs us to obey:  First Saturdays of Reparation, daily rosary, at least 5 mysteries, wear her brown scapular and live your Total Consecration to her Immaculate Heart, offering daily duties in reparation and for the conversion of poor sinners.

Open your hearts to the Lord and serve Him only: and He will free you from the hands of your enemies. With all your heart return to Him, and take away from your midst any strange gods.” (I Kings 7:3)

✝︎  Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of our hearts, Mother of the Church, do thou offer to the Eternal Father the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, for the conversion of poor sinners, especially our Pontiff.
✝︎  Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thy kingdom come! Viva Cristo Rey!
✝︎  St. Joseph, protect us, protect our families, protect our priests.
✝︎ St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Seven Words to the Cross

SEVEN WORDS TO THE CROSS

Our Lord spoke seven words from the Cross; but there were also seven words spoken to Our Lord on the Cross.

THE FIRST WORD TO THE CROSS

Some never remain near the Cross long enough to absorb the mercy which flows from the Crucified. They are known as the “passers-by.”
The passers-by blasphemed against Him, tossing their heads; Come now, they said,
Thou who wouldst destroy the temple and build it up in three days, rescue Thyself; come down from that cross, If Thou art the Son of God. (Matt. 27:39, 40)

The Lord was no sooner on the Cross than they asked Him to come down. “Come down from the Cross” is the most typical demand of an unregenerate world in the face of self-denial and abnegation: a religion without a Cross.

As He, the Son of God, was praying for the executioners, “Father forgive,” they sneered: “If Thou art the Son of God.” If He had obeyed their taunt “Come down,” in whom would they believe? How could Love be Love if it costs not the Lover?

For Saint Rafael on his Holy Day

It was on Saint Rafael’s Day that my husband and I first met 62 years ago.

Raphael.

Why shouldn’t Raphael himself perform this anointing? Because an Angel does not give compunction; his role is to show the way. In this gall, therefore, we see the image of the bitterness of contrition, which makes the inner eyes of the soul healthy; a Psalm tells us: “He heals those who are contrite in heart.” This contrition is an excellent eye wash.

Falling Like Stars, June 2020

Unfortunately, we are not able to update for this reposting of 2022 .

And there was seen another sign in heaven: and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns: and on his head seven diadems: And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth.
(Apocalypse 12, v. 3-4).

This post updated June 19th, Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with scriptural citations added at the end.

One point I have stressed continuously is that the message at Fatima began with a warning from St. Michael the Archangel about abuses against the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Holy Eucharist and then it presents Our Lady offering the remedy for this assault from satan.

To be very clear on this point: God sends to us His most beloved creature, the most pure and ever Virgin Mary, whom Our Savior Jesus Christ chose to provide the very Body and Blood of His infinitely precious sacrifice. He sends her to us as His final offering to call us to repentance.

Again, the Sacred Body and Precious Blood, sacrificed for our redemption were provided through the Immaculate Virgin Mary. In that sense, we are united with her through our Holy Communions. She is the Mother of the Holy Catholic Church, and she is as well, the Mother of the Mass! This Immaculata is our only means to restore the essential Holy Sacrifice. If we continue to offend her by our indifference to her commands, there will be no further help given. I have updated this post from 2015 in the hope that it may help convince of the importance of our situation, which is dire. You will very soon lose even more than you already have lost. The world is on the brink of chaos and I have been unable to bring myself to speak of what will happen.

The gods of the gentiles . . .

Sometimes it is helpful to look back, and so I am reposting a small post from back in the days of the Synod of Darkness when the  Vatican’s occupiers met and honored an Amazonian fertility goddess. Strange bedfellows indeed!

Long time readers recognised the actions of adoring the devil in the guise of “pachamama” immediately and have been quietly offering reparation for this great evil. This evil was not unexpected – it must be that satan openly flaunts his power in the Vatican – he is impatient to be manifest after all.

This naked pregnant woman – what does she represent? the idol’s immodest appearance is the reverse of the modesty of Our Lady and the appearance of fertility is the satanic reverse of true fertility for the “god” she serves demands, in place of the Holy Sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the blood sacrifice of millions of unborn innocents.  And the wretched men behind this synod,  promote the UN’s anti-life climate agenda, including abortion and contraception.

We have written on this so many times! On October 13, 1917, Our Lady of the Rosary begged that we “must not offend Our Lord any more for He is already too much offended.” (link) And yet, 100+ years later, here we are!

Indeed, Lucifer himself has been enthroned in the Vatican for many years as Father Malachi Martin asserted and of which we have written often. See here. And we have chronicled the many proofs that this papacy serves the ancient enemy of Christ in many articles. That this Bergoglian Reformation serves satan is detected by any Catholic with an intact sense of faith, i.e., any Catholic in a state of grace. So many of you shared with me your sense of dread and doom when Bergoglio walked onto that loggia with Danneels at his side. And you are the ones who have been quietly living the message of Fatima each day, each night in prayerful recollection, offering up penances, daily sacrifices, prayers and alms in reparation and for the conversion of sinners.

We are in the time in which the Sacrifice is to be suppressed and the Ancient Enemy is enthroned in the Sanctuary, as we see in the Vatican’s unholy ceremonies. Note this, the Enemy requires human souls in his own satanic worship. Thus we have Pope Francis eagerly turning over millions of Chinese faithful to certain martyrdom, and encouraging massive immigration of muslims into once Christian countries which will inevitably bring great harvest of souls for satan. This bloodshed of both souls for the devil and martyrs for the Faith is necessary and is a great sign for these times.

It may be that we shall come to the point where all will be separated and set at odds with one another. Unable to have the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, we will have our rosaries, in our hearts at least. It may be that a false pope, seeming to be better, but actually even worse than the present occupant, will be given to afflict us still more. If that happens, it will only be because of the obstinate refusal of the “faithful”. We cannot please Our Lord unless we obey the Immaculata. To her alone has the victory been given. She is the true Mother of the Church.

NOTE APRIL, 2020:

The passage above is being fulfilled in these times, just six months later. Masked people, distancing themselves, fearful of others, isolated in their homes, economy collapsing, abortion deemed an “essential service”, yet the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is banned, even with the complicity of our religious leaders.

Do not be perturbed by these things! The Chastisement continues until reparation is made, one way or the other.

“Who God possesses in nothing is wanting. Alone God suffices.”

Despite everything to the contrary, the loving, generous obedience of the children of her Immaculate Heart will bring to Our Lady, Queen of the Holy Rosary, Queen of the Church, her long-awaited victory.

For a good article on Pachamama at Pope Francis’s occupied Vatican, see: Rorate Caeli, Was a demon enthroned at the Synod?”
