“One woe is past, and behold there come yet two woes more hereafter.
And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet:”

[13] … and I heard a voice from the four horns of the great altar, which is before the eyes of God, [14] Saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet: Loose the four angels, who are bound in the great river Euphrates. [15] And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year: for to kill the third part of men.

[16] And the number of the army of horsemen was twenty thousand times ten thousand. And I heard the number of them. [17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision: and they that sat on them, had breastplates of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and from their mouths proceeded fire, and smoke, and brimstone. [18] And by these three plagues was slain the third part of men, by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. [19] For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For, their tails are like to serpents, and have heads: and with them they hurt. [20] And the rest of the men, who were not slain by these plagues, did not do penance from the works of their hands, that they should not adore devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

[21] Neither did they penance from their murders, nor from their sorceries, nor from their fornication, nor from their thefts. (Apocalypse Chapter 9, verses 13-21)

The Seven Trumpets

Today, another restored post from the past… I apologise that it has not been updated yet.

The following post is from back in 2013, right after our humble pontiff moved into the Santa Marta with his dear friends Msgr. Ricca and his “spiritual son” Gustavo Zanchetta. We repost from time to time for those just coming on board.

“And the angel took the censer, and filled it with the fire of the altar, and cast it on the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings, and a great earthquake. And the seven angels, who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound the trumpet.” (Apoc. 8)

As requested, we will be looking at the Church in the light of the Message of Fatima and the Apocalypse. Sister Lucia is reported to have remarked when asked about the Third Secret that it was to be found in the Apocalypse, especially Chapters 8-13; that is to say, beginning with the Seven Trumpets.

Prior to her appearances at Fatima in 1917, Our Lady appeared at Quito, La Salette, Knock and (after Fatima) at Akita, all of which had a common thread of dire warning. Even though the apparition at Knock was silent, its prophetic relevance is clear from our perspective after 50 years of modernist “renewal”.

The Fifth Trumpet, 2021

Apocalypse 9, called by Father Sylvester Berry, “one of the most important in the whole Apocalypse. It foretells the first woe announced by the flying eagle (of the previous chapter) – the conditions and events destined to usher in the reign of the Antichrist.”

Apocalypse Chapter 9, v. 1-12

[1] And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, and I saw a star fall from heaven upon the earth, and there was given to him the key of the bottomless pit. [2] And he opened the bottomless pit: and the smoke of the pit arose, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke of the pit. [3] And from the smoke of the pit there came out locusts upon the earth. And power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power: [4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree: but only the men who have not the sign of God on their foreheads. [5] And it was given unto them that they should not kill them; but that they should torment them five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh a man.

[6] And in those days men shall seek death, and shall not find it: and they shall desire to die, and death shall fly from them. [7] And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle: and on their heads were, as it were, crowns like gold: and their faces were as the faces of men. [8] And they had hair as the hair of women; and their teeth were as lions: [9] And they had breastplates as breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was as the noise of chariots and many horses running to battle. [10] And they had tails like to scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had over them [11] A king, the angel of the bottomless pit; whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek Apollyon; in Latin Exterminans, [12] One woe is past, and behold there come yet two woes more hereafter.

After noting that the Fallen Star of Chapter 9 is “an apostate bishop or priest”, Fr. Kramer remarks that the key given to him indicates a divinely given power to open the pit, releasing the smoke and the locusts. The definite article used in this passage means that there is but one key, therefore this key to release what is in the pit is only given to the Fallen Star. In this regard, recall our earlier post, “Malachi Martin on the Apostasy of the Faith“, we said:

“In his book, Windswept House, Father Martin states that the Enthronement of Lucifer occurred June 29, 1963 and elsewhere he stated that the follow-up Enthronement of Lucifer must be performed at the Vatican within 50 years of that date, which would have been June 29, 2013, I believe. In other words, shortly after Jorge Bergoglio took over the Vatican, and moved in with his dear friend, Msgr. Ricca.

“Nine years to the day after that (first) enthronement, that is, on June 29, 1972 Pope Paul lamented,

“We believed that after the [Second Vatican] Council would come a day of sunshine in the history of the Church. But instead there has come a day of clouds and storms, and of darkness … “And how did this come about? … there has been a power, an adversary power. Let us call him by his name: the Devil. … It is as if from some mysterious crack, no, it is not mysterious, from some crack the smoke of Satan has entered the Temple of God.”

“In his book, The Kingdom of Darkness, Fr. Martin describes what is meant by “the smoke of Satan”, describing an interview Pope Paul Vi gave to his close friend, Jean Guitton not long before he died. When Guitton asked the Pope about his often-quoted remark regarding the smoke of Satan, Paul VI replied,

“Yes, the smoke of Satan is in the sanctuary. Due to the presence of Satan, Catholics are destined to become an infinitesimally small part of humanity.”

In another post, “Seven Trumpets“, we related this of Pope Paul VI:

“It was the final session of the Council, the most essential in which the Pope was to bestow upon all humanity the teachings of the Council. He announced this to me with these words, ‘I am about to blow the Seven Trumpets of the Apocalypse.’ “ (Interview, 11 October, 1992, cited in the excellent book, Animus Delendi – I, by Atila Sinke Guimaraes).

Therefore, we have in Pope Paul VI’s own words that he intended to “Blow the Seven Trumpets of the Apocalypse” and that the smoke of satan has entered the Church in his reign.

And in yet another previous post, “Cardinal Manning and the Final Synod“, we said that the Papacy was the restraining force against the powers of satan which war with the Church, and that the disobedience of the Popes resulted in the removal of the restraint against the devil:

“The restraint on the forces of Antichrist was removed as a direct result of the Church’s refusal to obey Our Lady of Fatima. This arrogant disobedience of the pontiffs is what caused the release of the diabolical forces of disorder against the Church, as foretold by the vision of Pope Leo XIII.

“Cardinal Manning, rightly believed that the strength of the papacy was a bulwark against the incursion of error in the Church. And when he predicted that secular powers would remove the pope, he was correct; however, the secular powers (the forces of satanic freemasonry) were entrenched within the Church, which was something he did not anticipate. How did the papacy fail?

“By their disobedience to the Blessed Virgin at Fatima, each pope from Pius XI onwards set themselves against God’s will; eventually, by the time of John XXIII, becoming openly defiant and flatly refusing her command. Thus, from John XXIII on, the popes effectively removed themselves as the bulwark against the antichristic agenda. And now, this has culminated under the present pope, who is frankly, openly antichristic. Not Antichrist. In Pope Bergoglio, we have the first thoroughly modernist pope. This tragedy was perhaps, foretold by Cardinal Pacelli before he became Pope Pius XII and also by St. Francis of Assisi.

Fr. Kramer contrasts the Fallen Star with St. Peter: whereas St. Peter’s keys protected the true faith, the Fallen Star’s key releases error and rebellion. “This Fallen Star is clearly some great leader of revolt against the Church … the shepherd of apostates … as Peter is shepherd of Christ’s followers. … The possessor of the key of the pit is then the head of Satan’s church as Peter is the head of Christ’s Church.”  Of the spirits released from the pit,  he states, “Those spirits may have been relegated to the bottomless abyss by the Church through the powers of the priesthood, the spread of truth (i.e., dogma of the Faith) and the administration of the sacraments; they are now released and permitted to work towards the re-establishing of paganism.”

Note well, it was Pope Paul VI that replaced the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with the protestantised Novus Ordo  and also corrupted the sacraments, particularly by deleting the exorcisms from them as in Baptism and Extreme Unction.

Fr. Kramer tells us of the woe of locusts: “It will clear out of the Church … the faithless and unregenerate in heart, will purify the faithful, strengthen them and arouse new zeal and activity in the Church. … The power of the locusts is from hell, but they can use it only as far as God permits. Their permission is to inflict spiritual chastisement on those who do not have the sign of God on their foreheads, who have lost the graces of Baptism and Confirmation and are living a life of sin.” [Note: For more information regarding this hopeful aspect of the Chastisement, please see our post on the prophecies of Blessed Elizabeth Canori Mora, here.]

Compare that with Pope Francis’s false mercy which abets the sinner to continue living in his life of sin.

In a later passage, Fr. Kramer explains that the statement that the torment shall last five months does not necessarily mean precisely five months but is often used in biblical narratives to illustrate a set period. Therefore it could just as likely be 50 years, which would fit this time exactly. Fr. Kramer says that after the specified period of time, those injured by the locusts, that is, infected with modernist heresy, will no longer be able to repent.

If there is interest, we will continue with Chapter 9 soon, and discuss the locusts further.  It is, as Fr. Berry said, a very significant portion of the Apocalypse.

Apocalypse 9, revisited

Today, we are looking at Apocalypse 9 in the light of the message of Fatima: In our earlier post, “Fatima, Vatican II and the Chastisement“, we asserted that the Fallen Star, Wormwood, refers to the disobedient Pope John XXIII.

Disobedient Popes

This unfortunate man refused to obey the requests of Christ and His Mother and consequently brought a spiritual darkness and disorientation upon the Church from which she has not been able to recover. The Second Vatican Council, which Pope John XXIII so proudly convened has failed by every measure to bring the spiritual renewal he boasted of. Indeed, it has been an unmitigated disaster, or more precisely, chastisement. It cannot be remedied until the Pope and Bishops of the Church obey God’s command, given by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima and emphasised by our Lord Jesus Christ in His apparition to Sister Lucia in Rianjo. Previously, “The Fifth Trumpet“, we looked at the second Fallen Star of Chapter 9, considering if it may be applied to Pope Paul VI. Although earlier commentators applied this prophecy to the arch-heretic Martin Luther, 500 years have passed since Martin Luther, and at this time, the figure of the Fallen Star of Chapter 9 appears most appropriate to Pope Paul VI for the reasons which we brought out in that earlier post. Martin Luther did immense harm to the Faith. However, the Catholic Church maintained her integrity despite his assaults; whereas, under the two Fallen Stars of Chapters 8 and 9, that is, John XXIII and Paul VI, the Church has been ravaged by the enemy within, betrayed by her very “Holy Fathers”.

The Locusts

In earlier posts, we considered the locusts, those apocalyptic monsters which have intrigued every generation for two millennia. The most popular theory of recent times has been to identify them with the muslim hordes which have dispersed throughout the world. Archbishop Fulton Sheen believed that this was a possibility, as did Father Herman Bernard Kramer in his Book of Destiny. However, this popular premise is wrong, the locusts are not muslims, as we shall see.

Let’s recap: The Fallen Star was given a key, with which he opened the bottomless pit. The smoke of the pit arose, darkening the sun, and out of the smoke came locusts. [Note here, the oft repeated statement of Paul VI about the smoke of Satan in the Church.] As noted previously, the darkness of the sun is a spiritual disorientation, another reference to the post-conciliar church. The locusts could not harm any green thing, but only harm “men who have not the sign of God on their foreheads”.  The reference to not harming “any green thing” refers to being unable to harm those with living faith, that is, truly faithful Catholics. The scripture further states that the locusts cannot kill the men, but shall torment them five months with the torment of a scorpion when he strikes a man. That description does not fit the muslim terrorists, who murder Christians because of their faith.

Who are the locusts?

What was not clear to Archbishop Sheen or to Father Kramer can be clearly discerned now, fifty-six years after Vatican II.  The apocalyptic locusts are the modernists who have infested the Church since Vatican II established them in all the seats of power. They target their poison on faithful Catholics. Attacking the very roots of the faith. They have run the Church since they grasped the reins of power in the initial phases of Vatican II. Let’s review the description of these locusts again:

[7] And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle: and on their heads were, as it were, crowns like gold: and their faces were as the faces of men. [8] And they had hair as the hair of women; and their teeth were as lions: [9] And they had breastplates as breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was as the noise of chariots and many horses running to battle. [10] And they had tails like to scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months. And they had over them [11] A king, the angel of the bottomless pit; whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek Apollyon; in Latin Exterminans.

Note here, that Saint John tells us this name in Hebrew, Greek and Latin. Now, where else in the new Testament have we seen that triple translation? Penny for your thoughts…

Father Kramer notes

The smoke ascending out of the abyss is not a swarm of locusts, but as it comes in contact with conditions on the surface it produces locusts, it is their efficient cause. …When the smoke rose from the pit, there was something present on earth*, which being touched by the smoke produced these monstrous locusts. …

They seem to increase in numbers as long as the smoke ascends out of the pit; that is, as long as God allows. The smoke spreads over some parts of the earth for the Seer beholds the locusts coming out of the smoke and over-running regions not enveloped in smoke.

The influence that ascends from the abyss produces the locusts and confers on them a power like that of scorpions. The word “power” …  primarily means regal “authority”, the right to exercise some magisterial office over others.

And today, we see this Pope of Affliction using that usurped authority to destroy the Mass, the priesthood and continuing to bloat the College of Cardinals with his apostate appointees. This is the spiritual chastisement writ large.

Father Kramer explains that in Scripture, “Our Lord associates scorpions with the activity of Satan (Luke 10,19),(Ecclus. 39,36)… This figure alludes to Joel (2,1)  where the oncoming Babylonian armies are described as locusts in language similar to our text. They killed all the wicked in Israel who did not have the sign of God on their foreheads (Ez. 9,6). The effect of this woe will then be somewhat similar to that of the Babylonian war. It will clear out of the Church as far as it spreads, all the faithless and unregenerate in heart, will purify the faithful, strengthen them and arouse new zeal and activity in the Church.”

Context for the above quotes:

Luke 10, 19-21: “Behold, I have given you power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and upon all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall hurt you. But yet rejoice not in this, that spirits are subject unto you; but rejoice in this, that your names are written in heaven. In that same hour, he rejoiced in the Holy Ghost, and said: I confess to Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because Thou hast hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to little ones.” Thus, Jesus gives them power over evil-doers, but warns them not to forget the purpose of it all is salvation. He then cautions them that they are not the “wise and prudent, but “little ones”. This is to warn us against pride in our own wisdom, and urge us to rely humbly on God to lead us and grant us the graces we need to be truly wise.

Ecclesiasticus 39, 30-36: “Good things were created for the good from the beginning, so for the wicked, good and evil things…All these things shall be for good to the holy, so to the sinners and the ungodly they shall be turned into evil. There are spirits that are created for vengeance, and in their fury they lay on grievous torments. In the time of destruction they shall pour out their force: and they shall appease the wrath of him that made them. Fire, hail, famine, and death, all these were created for vengeance. The teeth of beasts, and scorpions, and serpents, and the sword taking vengeance upon the ungodly unto destruction.” Think on it.

Joel 2,1-2: “Blow ye the trumpet in Sion, sound an alarm in my holy mountain, let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: because the day of the Lord cometh, because it is nigh at hand. A day of darkness, and of gloominess, a day of clouds and whirlwinds… All is worth reading.

Ezekiel 9, 4-6: “And the Lord said to him: Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem: and mark Thau upon the foreheads of the men that sigh, and mourn for all the abominations that are committed in the midst thereof. And to the others He said in my hearing: Go ye after him through the city, and strike: let not your eyes spare, nor be ye moved with pity. Utterly destroy old and young, maidens, children and women: but upon whomsoever you shall see Thau, kill him not, and begin ye at my sanctuary.” Note, the Lord instructs to begin at His sanctuary, that is with the priests. And the ones with Thau are those who are faithful and obedient, making reparation. Read Ch 9.

Is it really too much to hope that at least some will hear these words in their hearts?

“Tolerance” is indifference to sin

NOTE:  Those “who have not the sign of God on their foreheads” refers to those who have fallen from the faith;  they have become so indifferent to sin that they have lost their baptismal faith, they can no longer distinguish true devotion from pious sounding frauds, and they tolerate doctrinal errors in order to achieve their own goals for the Church. Having “made peace” with sin in their own lives in order to advance their own goals and be a worldly success, they have become indifferent to deceit and fraud, and complacent about divorce, adultery, gender ideology and political expediency.

The only way given to Catholics to remain faithful in this time is through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. She is our refuge because she bears no mark of satan on her pure heart or soul. Those who spurn the help of this merciful Mother will be unable to remain faithful and will be cleared away. Those who are truly her children, consecrated to her, and grown wise in her teachings by way of her Rosary, have nothing to fear from him and can be confident of victory, despite the certainty of great suffering.

The wording of the passage indicates that the locusts wear, “as it were, crowns like gold”, meaning resembling gold, not actually gold. The passage indicates that they have attained or usurped power in the Church and use this power deceitfully, amassing more power to mislead the faithful. The modernists infesting the Church proclaimed that the Council was merely “Pastoral” and yet they have treated it as though every bit was infallible doctrine. They forced a new “Mass” on the faithful, deceptively claiming that the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was abrogated when it never was. The lying tyranny of the the usurpers of the Faith after Vatican II is the arrogant deceit of these locusts. And now, in 2020, this deception has penetrated into the traditional faithful as well.

“Hair like women”

“This has since antiquity been the symbol of voluptuousness, effeminacy and vainglory. It is an external trait of the inner character. Though they have the reasoning power of men, their nature is weak, and they are swayed like women by sentimental considerations. The motives of their actions are sensual pleasure and vainglory. (Ed.:Think Paglia el al in the Bergoglian inner circle) They are devoid of the manly strength of character or chivalry of mediaeval knights. They are cruel yet have not the other qualifications of lions but only the teeth to lacerate defenseless victims. They are bold, self-assertive, malicious and treacherous. This alludes again to Joel (I. 6). These monsters are thus a composite of man and woman, …”

“They meditate and plan evil; they give themselves up to sensuality and vainglory and listen only to sentimental pleas; they destroy the institutions and the means of sanctification and terrorize people into subjection, and they lacerate all who do not submit to their tyranny and bring those who do submit into the utmost misery.” (Fr. Kramer, “The Book of Destiny”)

This last refers again to the prophecy of Joel as earlier noted , it alludes to the wasted vineyard, “for the springs of waters are dried up, and fire hath devoured the beautiful places of the wilderness”. Again, foretelling destruction and desolation.

The remaining description of the locusts:

“[9] And they had breastplates as breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was as the noise of chariots and many horses running to battle. [10] And they had tails like to scorpions, and there were stings in their tails; and their power was to hurt men five months.”

The iron breastplates denotes that they are impervious to reason or logic. Fr. Kramer states that this “noise” signifies great power of propaganda. The modernists who infest our Magisterium control the narrative. They control the media and academe and have successfully perverted the meanings of most of the words used to discuss the dogma and practice of the faith. (Note: Opus Dei is included in the blanket term modernist. )These modernists now control the traditional press as well. Consider the corruption of the essential terms, “Mercy” or  “infallibility”.

The locusts have tails like scorpions with which to sting men. Father Sylvester Berry tells us of this passage,

“The scorpion-like sting is a symbol of heresy that stings and poisons the soul. Its location in the tail signifies deceit and hypocrisy.” … “The tail is the symbol of lying, hypocrisy and false doctrines. The poisonous sting in the tails of these monsters aptly represents sophistry, cunning, deceit and the false conclusions which propagators of heresy draw from Scripture and from the teachings of the Church, by which they mislead their victims …”  “According to the Greek text, the sting of the locusts is to impose injustice on their victims.” (Kramer, The Book of Destiny)

“… and their power was to hurt men five months.”

In verse 5, we are told that, “It was given them … that they should torment (men) five months.” Then in verse 10, this is repeated, “and their power was to hurt men five months.” The repetition is noteworthy. Then, Father tells us,

“The figure 5 is frequently used without a special reason to make the narrative more concrete (Matt. 25, 15) “Five talents”, Luke 12, 6, “Five sparrows” (Luke 12,6), “Five in one house” (Luke 12, 52).

Fr. Kramer interprets this passage as referring to inflicting a spiritual torment on faithless Catholics, “a pang of conscience which lasts a period of time, after which the afflicted person simply settles down into a numb apostasy. After some time the apostate will become callous to the sting of conscience, soothe the wounds made by the gnawing worm by lazily submitting to the decrees of fate and grow satisfied with his spiritual status. And then he will even defend his deliberations and actions.”

Regarding this numbing indifference, recall the Prayer of the Angel of Fatima, which urged reparation for “sacrilege, outrage and indifference”.  That is ever the way in a sinful nation, first the sacrilege, then the shock and outrage, but eventually the faithful become inured to the offenses and given enough time, become blind to the monstrous sins which have become all-pervasive.

The Holy Ghost by emphasising the number five was indicating 50 years of modernism, after which the Church either throws it off, rejecting it for the evil it is, or settles down into total apostasy of the faith. Today, fifty-five years later, we have passed that point and have not thrown off the heresy, but have become so numb to iniquity that most Catholics are unaware of the extent to which their faith has become compromised by their world-wise “tolerance” which is really indifference.

Chapter 9 In the year 2021

The above was written several years ago, and today, in August 2020, we are beginning to see the outlines of the one world tyranny looming on every horizon. No matter where you turn, the worldwide surveillance state has you covered with an electronic net. When it gets to the point that you are unable to formulate a prayer, how will you protect your loved ones?  And the FrancisChurch and all the world’s bishops in communion with him have denied the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the sacraments to the faithful. Indeed, we have now reached the time prophesied in the Vision of Knock – the Mass silenced, and the people outside the structures of the church.

And yes, I’m aware that the Mass has returned in a more or less restricted way in many areas. What I say is, just wait a while and you will see.

The deliberate closing off of the channels of grace coupled with the use of advanced technology to hinder our ability to think and make choices is not only to maintain power over the helpless masses but to destroy their ability to save their souls. The intention is to eradicate the very concept of God from the minds of mankind. This is what Father Malachi Martin meant when he said that if we knew the secret the churches would be full with people seeking confession. As I have said many, many times, if people do not do penance now, they will become unable to do so. In fact, it will never occur to them to repent.

We have reached a new nadir among the traditional faithful when even traditional priests promote Donald Trump as the new King Cyrus. This betrayal of the true faith is a great victory for the ancient enemy. We will discuss this further in our next Reflections Newsletter, God willing.

One last note:

* The phrase, “something present on earth, which being touched by the smoke produced these monstrous locusts” refers to the modernist heretics which were already in place, in seminaries and universities and even within the Church but were not given power until the modernist revolution of the Council. Freemasonry as well (the two are inseparable) had been insidiously infiltrating the Church since at least the time of Cardinal Rampolla.

If you would save yourselves and those entrusted to you, pray the Rosary with a humble and contrite heart. Then, Our Lady will teach you her Science of the Holy Rosary. it is the science of survival under the reign of satan.

An especially appropriate prophecy?

“. . . thou shalt not know at what hour I will come to thee.”

Today’s post was last offered years ago, when we were only beginning the great reset planned for so long. As the Bergoglian Reformation continues, we sadly watch as the faithful are being abandoned, locked out of their churches, denied the sacraments, while the usurper pope banishes the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass from Saint Peter’s and makes war against the faithful who simply want to worship God in the way instituted by Our Savior Himself, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of all times.

Honoring Judas?

Pope Francis now displays a painting that blasphemes Our Lord Jesus Christ in order to honor Judas, the “son of perdition”. The ancient enemy of Christ appears to be ruling the Vatican now. In this deeply spiritual battle, we faithful have no true advocates, for none who will lead us is a true apostle of the Blessed Virgin Mary, truly consecrated to her Immaculate Heart.

Swept along in this dark tide, once fervent souls have become tepid, clarity of vision dims into obscurity and once reliable leaders stumble into error. Pray for them, pray also for the two men in white, squatters in the Vatican. Prayers at this time do not necessarily bring us comfort, for this time of winnowing is a time of sere desolation, and we will not see the Resurrection on this side of the veil.

“One woe is past, and behold there come yet two woes more hereafter.
And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet”:

[13] … and I heard a voice from the four horns of the great altar, which is before the eyes of God, [14] Saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet: Loose the four angels, who are bound in the great river Euphrates. [15] And the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year: for to kill the third part of men.

[16] And the number of the army of horsemen was twenty thousand times ten thousand. And I heard the number of them. [17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision: and they that sat on them, had breastplates of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and from their mouths proceeded fire, and smoke, and brimstone. [18] And by these three plagues was slain the third part of men, by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. [19] For the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For, their tails are like to serpents, and have heads: and with them they hurt.

[20] And the rest of the men, who were not slain by these plagues, did not do penance from the works of their hands, that they should not adore devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

[21] Neither did they penance from their murders, nor from their sorceries, nor from their fornication, nor from their thefts. (Apocalypse Chapter 9,)

CHASTISEMENT

With the Sixth Angel’s Trumpet, we are introduced to the most severe chastisement so far. St. John himself seems to expect disbelief at the vastness of it, for when he announces that the army of horsemen numbers “20,000 times 10,000”, that is, 200,000,000, he quickly asserts, “And I heard the number of them”, thus confirming this number is from the Holy Ghost, and not his own conjecture.

The Great Altar is Christ our Savior,  and it is He who commands the four fallen angels be released. That these angels are fallen is clear because they have been bound. That Jesus is allowing them to be free is evidence of His justice, which has been so long mocked with the false mercy of hypocrites. The Great Altar emphasises Christ’s perfect sacrifice for us on Calvary and the true Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, for He is the priest, the victim and the altar. This vision is directly related to the abuses of the Mass, such as stripping it of its sacrificial nature, and the abuses of the faith, carried out by the leaders of the Church, those who are most called to protect, promote and defend the Faith.

Note:   Although Fr. H.B. Kramer believed the Great Altar to refer to the religious orders, the passage of time has proved that this is not the case. The once-great orders have succumbed to the withering “Springtime” of Vatican II.  Therefore,  the correct understanding is that of Fr. Berry;  that the Great Altar refers to Our Savior and His Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Both Kramer and Berry believed the Fallen Star to have been Martin Luther; but as centuries have passed, we see that Bergoglio’s Reformation within the Church far surpasses Luther’s, which occurred outside the institutional Church.

Indeed, the Bergoglian Reformation actually began with the disobedient Popes such as John XXIII, Paul VI and by now has reached its apotheosis in  Pope  Francis who has superseded by far the heresies spawned by Luther, and brought heresy and apostasy into the very heights of the Church.

The Four Angels of the Euphrates

And so, at the behest of the Voice from the Great Altar, the four angels from beneath the Euphrates are loosed upon mankind. As we have remarked before, four is a number of universality, and indicates how extensive this woe will be. Father Sylvester Berry believes these four angels may be the same four angels of Chapter 7, “to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea” and who were commanded not to hurt the earth, the sea or the trees until the servants of God were signed on their foreheads. (Apoc. 7, 2-3).

Fr. Berry remarks that the increasing severity of chastisements corresponds with the increase of iniquity. These accelerating woes portend the nearness of the coming of the Antichrist. This woe is announced for a very definite time, i.e., “an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year”, thus emphasising that the precise day and hour is determined by God alone. And the task? “For to kill the third part of men.”

The vastness of the multitude of killers, 200,000,000, indicates a universal revolution and Father Kramer’s Book of Destiny speculates that these murderous horsemen may be Muslims. In an earlier post, “Islam and the Errors of Russia”, we stated that Islam is actually a part of the scourge of the errors of Russia, which resulted from the Pope’s failure to Consecrate that poor country.  And now, when we view these horsemen in the light of the Message of Fatima, we see that they represent the full vengeance of the errors of Russia (dialectical materialism, atheistic marxism) wreaked upon mankind, including the violence of Islamic persecution with nothing to mitigate its wrath. With the uncontested islamic immigration, we see the stage being set for a war of unprecedented violence.

There is no human force that can withstand, much less conquer this chastisement, but only the merciful intervention of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. When the Pope and remaining hierarchy, chastened at last, obey God in all humility and obedience and finally Consecrate Russia as requested.

The Meaning of the First Woe

Thus we see that the first woe, the spiritual chastisement of the locusts, which represents the heresies and errors spawned by the disobedience of the Church, is followed by the second woe, a horrible worldwide revolution of unprecedented proportions, unheard of carnage. My understanding of this passage is not so much that of a high-tech nuclear weapons assault, but of a largely personal, man to man battle that will be of unimaginable violence. This could follow a worldwide financial meltdown, economic collapse, with the resultant rampaging, rapine and murder, perhaps as a result of an EMP attack, as many others have speculated, or alternatively, in conjunction with another weapon, perhaps biomedical terror.* Father Gruner’s latter writings mentioned scalar weaponry, but I am not knowledgeable enough to comment on that, although it would appear to fit nicely with Sister Lucia’s last reported vision.

Ed. Note: Regarding “Biomedical terror” I wrote that several years before the COVID attack on our freedom. And in time, it will be seen as the vehicle for the “unimaginable violence” to come. For those who have eyes to see, the masses are being whipped into a frenzy of hatred for those who reject the masks, reject the so-called vaccines. Soon, a much worse version will be spread, more deadly, more contagious and its spread will be attributed to “anti-vaxxers”.

Throughout the millenia, in times of severest crisis, mobs will seek a scapegoat to vent their need for “justice”, “Someone must pay”, so that “Justice must be done”. Look around you at the self-righteousness of the pro-vax crowd. Someone must be tarred and feathered, someone must be burned at the stake, bring back lynchings, bring back the guillotine – there must be violence! This has ever been the way. And so the vaccine will prove to be the pinch of incense for which millions will be murdered.

For so long now, mankind has spurned the wisdom of Holy Scripture, preferring the false god of science and evolution, and worshiping at the altars of technology, engrossed in their smartphones, relying on google and wikipedia and false seers, such as those of Medjugorje and Garabandal,  rather than on scripture and the church’s perennial teaching. Now will come a sad time when mankind will regret these foolish choices, but instead of turning repentant to God, many will long for death, as foretold above in verses 20-21:

“And the rest of the men, who were not slain by these plagues, did not do penance from the works of their hands, that they should not adore devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:  Neither did they penance from their murders, nor from their sorceries, nor from their fornication, nor from their thefts.”

Misguided men have been led to believe that death merely extinguishes being, and thus brings surcease. They will find instead, the reality of hell shown to them by Our Lady of Fatima, whose message they ignored as unworthy of their enlightened age. They will know the truth at last, but it will be too late for this truth to make them free.

In the above scripture, the riders have breastplates “of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone, and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions: and from their mouths proceeded fire, and smoke, and brimstone”. Father Kramer tells us that fire represents hatred of God, the flame-colored smoke represents blasphemy, and the sulfur, rebellion. He explains, hatred of God begets disobedience to His law and leads to immorality, which expresses itself in blasphemy. Both islamists and marxists hate the Son of God with a diabolical intensity.

Father Berry’s explanation is slightly different: The riders and their horses, “inflict upon men the plagues of fire, smoke, sulfur. The fire is persecution and war. Smoke symbolizes obscuring of doctrine and the weakening of faith; sulfur, the moral depravity which follows.” This is the better explanation of the two. Note that St. John here states that, “the power of the horses is in their mouths, and in their tails. For, their tails are like to serpents, and have heads: and with them they hurt.”  Serpents are symbols of lying and hypocrisy, which characterize the enemies within the Church, and without.

Today,  the Church is occupied by the same errors of Russia, i.e., atheistic marxism, dialectical materialism, warned of by Our Lady of the Rosary nearly a century ago.   Thus is the Church suffering through a betrayal such as never before seen, while the majority of Catholics are indifferent.

Apropos the Occupiers of the Vatican

The horses and their riders exemplify violent power, extensive, all-pervasive propaganda and heretofore unheard-of abuses against the faith and persecutions of the faithful. Those who survive will be still further separated; the faithful who are marked with the sign of faith will be strengthened, while those of the world will persist with even harder hearts, for they, “did not do penance from the works of their hands”, that is, they continued to ignore the call to  repent and do penance.

Father Berry tells us that the state of sin persists even after the plague of the murderous horsemen has passed, and will continue,

“until the Church is fully prepared to carry through with God’s special direction and help overthrow the reign of evil and the conquest of the world for Christ.”

This indicates that the Church will eventually, as Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lord Himself assure us, obey and perform the Consecration of Russia, after which a period of peace will be given. This period will not be very long, after which the woes continue, leading to the coming of the Man of Sin.

The Remedy is the Blessed Virgin’s Message of Fatima

The great revelation of Fatima has been by turns suppressed and  misrepresented. It is actually one revelation  composed of three parts which are inter-related and inseparable. The first part, the vision of hell and its remedy, prayer, penance and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has been either ignored or misinterpreted. The second part was the demand for the First Saturdays of Reparation and the Consecration of Russia, without which we were told, Russia would spread her errors and there would be no peace, that is to say that the violence of war would continue. And so it has; there has not been a period of time since 1917 when there was no persecution of Christians, no war somewhere in this bloodstained earth.

Failure to heed this message has resulted in increasing material chastisement;  wars of  increasing in violence, and is rapidly culminating in a severe material chastisement. The third part (Third Secret) is the spiritual chastisement of the withdrawal of grace and the near total demolition of the faith, which proceeds quickly under this dark eclipse of the Church.

Both the material and the spiritual chastisements will continue apace until mankind repents, however few remain. The longer that God is disobeyed, the more spiritual assistance will be withdrawn and the ancient enemy will appear to prevail everywhere.  We are approaching rapidly the time when we will have to rely on the Rosary and the level of consecration to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary that we have achieved.  With the ever-increasing power of satan in the world, distractions and disorientation will provide immense obstacles to those attempting to remain faithful.

Now is therefore the time to devote ourselves to becoming the most perfect children of Mary, for in this only will be our safety in the darkness and disorientation.  Our Lord Jesus Christ assured Sister Lucia that in the end, the Blessed Virgin will prevail, for it has been given to her.

The Book of Destiny states that “Verses 20 and 21 presage a time of peace between “the first reign of terror in the Second Woe – the horsemen – and the reign of Antichrist.” I believe that this “time of peace” that Father Kramer refers to is the promised time of peace of the Fatima Message. Perhaps our Pope of Surprises is preparing the way for the next event. Will it be the thunderous hooves of the horsemen?  Some despise the Message of Fatima, while some faithful few repent and do penance. We do not know if there will be sufficient faithful obedient to Our Lady of the Rosary in order to turn the course of events and mitigate the chastisement, or will it simply be that the faithful are able to mitigate their own personal chastisements and save themselves and those entrusted to them.  One thing is certain, there can be no victory of any kind without sacrifice, penance and prayer.

False Remedies

Many call for political activism and seek a leader after their own hearts. However, all of Sacred Scripture shows that a sinful, unrepentant  people  will languish without an effective leader until they experience a change of heart, repent and do penance.  Heaven sent us an angelic messenger at Fatima, more than 100 years ago, when the Angel of Peace taught the shepherd children to “make of everything you can a sacrifice”.  These small children took the message to heart, yet today, even well-respected traditional Catholic writers can say that “Fatima just doesn’t interest me”.  Or, as one very popular blog recently stated, “It really doesn’t matter.” Some even mock the Fatima Decade prayer and those who pray it fervently.

What do you think? Look around, do you believe that any significant number of Catholics is truly dedicated to the Message Our Lady of the Rosary brought us at Fatima?  How many today can call themselves her children?

In St. John Bosco’s vision, once the faithful realized they were no longer in Rome, that is to say,  once they rejected their false ways and returned to the faith, angels appeared with a banner to tell them the enemy was dispersed. As they took the banner, on one side it read, “Queen conceived without sin” (the Immaculata) and on the other, “Help of Christians”, that is to say, Our Lady of Victory, who conquers islam.  This vision foretells that victory has already been given to the Immaculata, that is, Queen conceived without sin, and that Our Lady of Victory will once and for all destroy the Saracens.

Very many of us today pray for a leader to come forward but we should be cautious in what we wish for. Until we are purified by our own spiritual practice and learn to live our Consecrations and follow the commands of the Angel of Fatima, there is every chance that any leader we follow may lead us astray. Our first steps must be to follow Our Lady’s requests – the one thing most necessary is to save our own souls. Before we embroil ourselves in fruitless campaigns of a social/political nature, we must be very sure that we are solidly formed on the spiritual obedience to our Blessed Mother through the program she has recommended to us. Then our vision will be clear and we shall be certain that whatever social/political actions we undertake will have her blessing.  For many will be mistaken and follow false paths to their ruin, but her children who follow her will triumph, with her Immaculate Heart and her Rosary.

Therefore,  watch and pray,

“Have in mind therefore in what manner thou hast received and heard: and observe, and do penance. If then thou shalt not watch, I will come to thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know at what hour I will come to thee.” (Apoc. 3,3).
